"Good hotel, very reasonably priced, close to the university of Manitoba and Superstore. To improve: blinds are definitely not blackout, which is challenging in spring when the sun is up early, and when your window faces the parking lot with extremely bright floodlights. Unfortunately it was raining two nights and there was a dripping sound outside the window that was so loud it sounded like someone was popping microwave popcorn in the next room. "Our two consecutive stays were disappointing overall. The rooms appeared only somewhat clean. During our first stay, the towels had hair on them, and the comforter felt itchy.
In both stays, the bathroom lacked a tissue holder, and the face and hand towels were dirty. The linens also did not appear to be properly cleaned. Additionally, the shower door needs maintenance, as it does not function properly.

"The rooms are very comfortable and very clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a wonderful restaurant for breakfast and the best thing is that it is located around everything, shopping at Polo Park, excellent restaurants and a movie theatre, not far from the Zoo and many parks. I have stayed there for many years and couldn’t be happier with the location that is close to so many wonderful things to do in Winnipeg and their rates are very reasonable."
