The host should be more honest I booked this close to my travel date. This is a shared property (two units). There is someone that has a garage facing the main road & lives upstairs. That is something we should know before booking. She never told me After I was on site I asked if there was a “rental” upstairs (you can tell there is more house) & she said there is no rental upstairs. We later had a DoorDash driver inform us there was a man that helped her find the door & he went in under us (the garage area I mentioned). That freaked me out. So I asked again if someone else was there. She then said the owner stopped by to get some things for a trip. There is a hidden door in the kitchen so I think to avoid renters feeling uncomfortable be honest & let us decide our comfort level.He was not a bother but how awkward to find out WHILE you are staying there?! She also knew the dishwasher did not work & only told me after I was checked in. It was the holidays & I had a chef come. That made his job much harder. To have to hand wash every dish is not luxury but you are charging luxury prices. I have stayed at true beach front luxury's for the same price. This is not the same level. It is nice but not luxury. There is no indoor connection to the garage. You have 20 steps to carry your luggage & groceries rain or shine. Just be aware. Hot tub was great pool is not heated The house is pretty & outside deck is nice. Bedrooms are all by each other. Washer kept going out of balance.
