They went above and beyond to help my family and I as we were not prepared for the weather. They treated us like family and made sure we were taken care of at checkout. Would definitely visit again! Reviewer location - San Jose Date of arrival - February 21, 2023 We are still amazed by the host and her attention to notify us of the difficulties of clearing out the prior week's blizzard and more than 9' of snow. We are skiers so we wanted to get some of the new snow. Host Darlene's crew moved mountains of snow and even had to deal with a pipe issue up to the last minute. We arrived and the cabin was pre-warmed. Pictures and listings are spot on. We would stay again at this cabin. Hi, thanks for review. Yes we provide information about the elevation, the description and amenities list 4 floors, so probably not a good idea for elderly. It was hot! Their is an air cooler upstairs that has instructions but in extreme heat using all the fans is necessary in a cabin. We do launder at the mat 140 degrees, we place the linens back into their sized cases so they are sanitary for you. I've lived up here for 36yrs, we have scorpions, they aren't the poisonous variety. I find them while cleaning and even in my own house. It's the forest we have every kind of critter. We do our very best, they usually come in when everyone's going in and out! We spray all the properties with non toxic to humans and pets before and after every stay. I recall you called once the day before your departure, the woman who called said she just wanted me to know that one of the plugs was out upstairs. I'm glad you were able to keep the decks and bbq clean during your week. It's a fun place for families, big loft, air hockey, lots of room. And all of tuolumne county had issues with the heatwave. Well...well... As you can see by the other reviews, the cabin is as described and pictured. I think perhaps you were waiting to find out about your deposit. It's amazing how disrespectful some guests can be. I'm sorry you chose to be unfair. The sheets are provided in each room, not every guest uses every bed in every room. The cabin is huge (sleeps large groups of guests) including the very large storage and mudroom, laundry room, extra fridge, table and chairs for hanging out while unloading, or doing laundry. Large living and dining areas, lots of bedrooms and large loft. The cabin has 4 floors as described and pictured so there are stairs and small children should not be unattended. The cabin is great for families and has made many happy vacation memories for years. Your right about renting again. I'm so glad others can read the reviews my wonderful guests have submitted. I'm honored to have served so many families. Darlene

Sorry you feel that way...the cabin is a great family place, many families have enjoyed their return visits over the last 10 years. The sheets and towels are provided in every bedroom. The description says 2 baths. And your rental agreement provides a list of items to bring. The kitchen is well stocked. Both refrigerators work quite well. We work very hard to assure our guests have great stay. Darlene

As we discussed the guests before you burnt up something in the oven and they ran the self clean, which unfortunately just made a burnt sacrifice out of it. There's a flat screen TV upstairs in the game room... We do remind on our rental agreement and in the cabin binder to space out showers. It is a very cool big cabin. Hi, thanks for your thoughts. The cabin is great for large families. Not sure which stove your referring too? The wood stove is older but huge and it will heat the house along with the forced air heat. The crew could tell you had a good time! The cabin always gets great reviews.
