This morning it was snowing and it took me all I had to get outta there because it was so relaxing! It was perfect and we can't wait to go there again...soon! It's perfect for the amount of people we had! Thank you so much! We can't wait to go back it we are wanted. It was perfect! Thank you my hostest with the mostest!! My reply to Andrew... I get it, you couldn't ski because of the weather conditions, and you weren't prepared due to not reading the weather and storm updates and precautions (multiple feet of snow). I provided you with all the information, so not bringing chains was a unfortunate. You said "I'm up for the adventure". The driveway was plowed the day of arrival. The cabin has brand new flooring, stove top and oven. Has stackable washer/dryer. The gas fireplace works great if you use the control instructions on the front. Thanks Darlene

We and our dog Daphnia loved breakfast on a sunny deck and long morning walks in the nearby forest. Also great host, we forgot our blankets but she got them to us after we called her and asked her help. Highly recommend! 7/14/2022 at 4:00 AM My response to Gary, Hi, I'm sorry you feel that way. We let guests know in the description, amenities, house rules, rental agreement and welcome guide what to bring. We haven't raised our rates in 20yrs, neither during the time of covid when there was a shortage of everything. This is a small community of villages up here on the mountain. We simply let guests know and kept them informed. This cabin is pet friendly and when you bring a pet you bring your bedding. Guests love the cabin and enjoy being able to bring their kids and pets. The fireplace heats the house, the instructions are on the fireplace and in the cabin binder, easy to use. You can see the other reviews also, we work very hard to make sure our guests are cared for. It's a fun family cabin, that recently got new appliances and flooring. We will have new pictures and video up soon. Hi, I know you had a great time through your communication. The cabin is as pictured, videoed and advertised. Families love it. You called about the shower not working, I sent maintenance up they arrived within 30 minutes. Maintenance stayed less than 5 minutes. The shower head is water conserving (required by water dept) they have a button on the side to stop flow so you can turn water off while sudsing up and conserve water. One of you pushed the button without realizing it so maintenance pushed the button on the showerhead, explained and left. Its wonderful fun cabin, many guests return year after year. Hi, I'm sorry you had difficulty dropping the key. We leave the outside lights on just over the doors. The parking is right in front of the cabin stairs. It's a neat, clean and cozy cabin, great deck and lots of fun for families with pets. It's close to dodge ridge, pinecrest lake, long barn ice rink, Beardsley and Lyons reservoir. Luis, I'm so glad you enjoyed the cabin, the quite, and being unplugged for a vacation. The area and local restaurants are great. The parking is right in front off the road. The cabin is really fun for reconnecting and enjoying each other. It's the mountains, the forest, the fun things to do and fresh air! Some areas in the forest aren't able to get signals and internet because line of sight through the trees isn't available. You were delightful and I look forward to your return. Hi, I'm so glad you enjoyed the cabin, it is beautiful. I'm sorry you had difficulty with no cell service. But I'm glad you mentioned it. Given that cell service is line of sight and we live on a mountain with many trees there are many spots not available that have service. We do list in the amenities phone section and the description that Verizon cell service is the only provider that works up here. We also provide the information that the cabin landline phones are local only 209965 or 209586 #s (local restaurants, emergency, the marina, dodge ridge, other local businesses as well as cabin to cabin) and to call beyond that you are advised it requires you bring a calling card. We also provide the information in the cabin binder to locate payphones and wifi service spots available all through the area and just about all the local information you can think of. I'm glad you enjoyed the time and the area, it truly is amazing. Tuolumne is the best of California in one county. We have Yosemite national park, Columbia state park, Railtown state park, Dodge ridge ski resort, Pinecrest Lake, Beardsley res, Stanislaus National Forest and much more.
