"Cabin was as described. The door code didn’t work and we messaged back and forth and never did get a working door code. We tried a side door and it was left unlocked is how we got in but we waited for maintenance for over 2 hours. We left the property unlocked all weekend because we never got a working code maintenance guy said Augusta was safe not to worry about it. Also the cabin was full of lady bugs. "

"An absolute perfect place to stay with our dogs. Everything about it was pet friendly. The most relaxing place we have stayed with our 4 dogs. Host was quick to communicate before and even during our stay. Above and beyond amenities. We had cookies waiting for us upon arrival. We will most definitely be staying here next time we are in the area. Quiet location with a fanced in area to let the dogs off leash."

"I would only have a few suggestions. 1. There needs to be hand towels in the bathrooms. 2. There were no dish towels or dish rags in the kitchen. 3. There needs to be a top sheet and a blanket on the beds and the pillows need to be replaced. 4. Maybe set some kleenex boxes around, especially with it being wintertime. Otherwise, we had a great time and our stay was very good. Very cute house! Thank you!"

"I cannot say enough good things about this property. If quiet and beauty is what you are looking for it's here. Its about 15-20 minutes either way. There is a road next to it but we didn't see a lot of traffic. We unfortunately got rained out and had to leave early so didn't get to emjoy it more. Heidi waa very helpful and understanding about this and even though she was at a family function she took the time to answer my questions. Very sweet and friendly lady. We are already planning a trip...

"Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. "We had such a wonderful four days at the cabin. Our neighborhood goes crazy on the Fourth of July. This was a great escape for us - some fireworks nearby but much more manageable for us. It’s off a gravel drive with very friendly neighbors. Our pups all loved to run the land and hang out on the wraparound porch. The property is as described and was perfect for our small group. My husband and I took our dogs on a great hike to Hughes Mountain in nearby Leadville. We would stay here again. "
