끔찍한 숙소! 최악의호텔

진짜 생에 최악의 숙박이었습니다. 사진에 속지마세요. 겉으로만 좋아보이지 수도관이 오래됬는지 화장실이나 주방 싱크대에서 냄새가 올라오는건 물론이고 청소를 하고 방을 오래 비워둔전지 곳곳에 먼지가 가득했습니다. 문제는 바퀴벌레가 밤에 출몰해서 (정말크고빨랐어요..) 마지막 두밤을 공포의 밤으로 보냈어요. 직원들(특히 남자직원 두명)에게 말했지만 서로 농담이나 주고받으면서 대수롭지 않다며 첫마디가 방을 바꿔줄수 없다는 말이었습니다. 저도 하루밤만 지나면 돌아가는 날이라서 그럴마음이 없었는데...정말 황당해서 어의가 없더라구요. 그 다음말이 진짜 너가 봤냐며 .. 물어보는데, 이게 직원이 맞나 싶었습니다. 그러면서 건물 어디에나 있는거라며 회피하더라구요. 그래서 어떻게 이럴수있냐며 따져 묻고 너희가 똑똑히 알았으면 좋겠다. 최악의 숙박을 하고 있다고 알고 있으라고 말해주었습니다. 그리고 이 호텔은 에어컨이 없습니다. 낮에 더워서 방에 있을수 없을 정도구요. 직원에게 문의을 했더니 그게 우리의 문제라면서 그래서 방에 선풍기가 있는거라며 선풍기를 이용하라고 하더군요. 정말 하나부터 열까지 심각한 숙소입니다. 정말 싼가격도 아니면서 이렇게 운영을 하고 있다는 자체가 너무 화가납니다. 절대로 여기서 보내지 마세요. 진짜!! 정말 최악입니다.

Great location and clean but that’s about it

Good: Location is great. Walking distance to Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Potter’s Field; Tanner street; My room was clean and comfortable. Bad: where do I start? - the outside building looks nothing like the website photos - main front entry is hidden - main entry is behind a large gate, then tucked to the right and hidden - reception area has really poor presentation - No ambiance, tiny hallways, disorderly, chipped paint - windows have steaks - front desk staff are nice but not knowledgeable about anything - receptionist tried to help and sent me on the wrong way - staff is nice but young, inexperienced, rarely smiles and unmotivated - WiFi didn’t work half the time - plus, my room was a dead zone for my Verizon phone service - you have to take your own trash out; worse part is that the trash cans are right in the front of the hotel front entry way. You see multiple giant trash bins as you arrive and leave the hotel each time - Again, really poor presentation all around - they really missed an opportunity here as the location is so great - not for first time London visitors - no AC; really hot rooms

Good location.

Convenient location for Tower of London and transport by bus ( outside the building ) and both kinds of rail about 15 mins walk. We had a studio appartment. It was very small not much bigger than your average hotel room. It didn’t have a cooktop and the oven was a microwave combo that was tricky to use. Maintenance is a bit lacking in this building, we reported the flickering light above the shower twice. Some power points did not work. The ac / heating was often too hot and couldn’t be regulated with only a small window opening. Wouldn’t like to stay in summer!

Good facilities

Very handy for where I needed to be. Easy check in but do need a £100 deposit on a credit card and photo ID. Shower ran out of hot water before I finished in the morning and someone broke my door handle trtying to get in my room but reception said they would look into that on the CCTV. I didn't get an update but think it was someone with the wrong room number...

Beware!

I didn't have high expectations for a two-night stay, but this place turned out to be one of the worst places I've ever experienced. While the decor may look new and modern in the pictures, upon arrival, it was obvious that no effort was made to maintain the place or clean it properly - the doorknob was loose, the shower caked with mould and limescale, and creepy crawlies were everywhere! I decided to check out after just one uncomfortable night (despite paying for two) - it was not worth the money and, I would really warn others against staying there.

Good, simple service

Very good, just an unfortunate Drains-like smell at the time on ground floor. All good on first floor where the apartment was.

Aesthetically Pleasing

Our first night there was good. However, when I woke up in the morning to take a shower, the shower was only giving out hot water. I called the front desk and they happily moved us to another room with working water. We spent another night there, but it smelled like mold or just old overall. When I went to take a shower, it was warm to hot water, but once I moved the knob just a little bit, it was giving out cold water. Also, the drain wasn't flowing quick enough, so I was showering in a small puddle. I didn't want to call and complain again since that was the same morning I was going to check out, so I just finished the rest of my shower with cold water. I had a problem with the smell(mold), the shower, and the bathroom overall -- there was not a vent. They need to review their amenities. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. I had a very disappointing experience.

Reception staff in particular one staff member

Very rude receptionist not welcoming clients , other staff member seemed to follow the lead of the unfriendly staff member they are the front door to your business and really need to remember basis customer service , shame they let you down .

Great location, no hassle apartments

I needed access to St Katherines Docks for a number of days. This location just 15mins walk away was perfect. Self catering facilities was just what I required for peace & study. Wifi was important to me, this worked a treat with decent speed.

I will not stay here again

The apartments are in a pretty good location and the staff are friendly and helpful but the building is scruffy, the rooms are tiny and very noisy. My tv didn't work at all, my blinds were broken so I couldn't even close them properly so slept with a gap in the blinds all night. It was clean ish but the throw on the bed was filthy and its just all felt very tired and in need of a lick of paint and some newer furnishings.

Average but ok

Average, but you get what you pay for in that area. Fittings are tired and underfloor heating is ridiculously hard to control to get the right temp. Some of the rooms are in better shape than others, but this needs a renovation

Overall good value. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Nice little apartment, but unfortunately bed a tad uncomfortable, would benefit from a deeper more comfortable mattress.

A comfortable base.

Flat was well equipped but sometimes with the wrong things. Fire blanket was missing. There were no tea towels and strange numbers of cups, glasses and so on. The reception staff were positive and helpful. A good base from which to explore an interesting part of London.
