My room was on the third floor. Be aware, the residence does not have a lift! The bed was comfortable and the furnishings were sensible. It was good for my short stay, and close to Paddington Station which was the purpose of booking there. There was a pleasant amount of noise from the street and a reasonable view of the park. I really enjoyed my stay.
The front desk was not attended when I arrived at around 10 despite hours saying that it should have been. When there was an issue with the electricity going off, the venue could not be contacted through expedia, whatsapp, email, insta, or facebook to get a response. When they did respond the next day, they said that they had not been able to respond but had sent someone to resolve the issue (I met the person in the hallway within the hour). I told them that I would have expected to know whether the resolution would take an hour or three, and a progress update. Coffee was not refreshed in the room daily.
