Modern 2-Bedroom Apartment, Notting Hill

Summary:

This is a fabulous, 2 bedroom apartment right in the heart of Notting Hill. With the Iconic Portobello Road just minutes away, as well as a phenomenal selection of restaurants, cafes and bars right on your doorstep, this is the perfect home base for you.



With 2 comfortable bedrooms, there is lots of space to relax. The open plan sitting room is great to relax with a film in the evening, and the kitchen is equipped for those wanting to cook up a meal.



The Space:

The apartment is in a fantastic location. Situated in a quiet mews off Westbourne Grove Mews, it is perfectly located in the heart of the action without being disturbed by it.



The apartment is on the first floor, up one flight of stairs.



Apartment layout:

You'll walk into the entrance hall. The apartment is one floor, with a full bathroom, a Kitchen/Dining/Sitting Room with traditional crittol windows and comfy couches. The master bedroom has a super-king bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed (please note that this room is above the famous Granger and Co kitchen, and there can be a little bit of disturbance during the day from the kitchen beneath including some noise + vibration).



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire apartment



The Neighborhood:

The apartment is located on a quiet peaceful mews just around the corner from Westbourne Grove. The area is bustling with great restaurants and pubs , famous brunch spots and a wide range of independent quirky shops. To start your morning, Granger & Co is open for a delicious brunch or enjoy some healthy unique options at the Farm Girl Cafe. Portobello market is nearby, offering a variety of different merchants. In the evening you can visit the Electric Cinema and grab a bite to eat in one of the pubs close by. This neighbourhood is simply unique with its vibrant and multicultural community and will not tire of things to do.



Getting Around:

Noting Hill Gate Tube Station- Central, District and Circle lines. It is a 10 minute walk, or 8 minute bus ride from Notting Hill Gate Station (Stop C) to Westbourne Grove (Stop Z).



Other Things to Note:

Please note that we provide small bottles of shampoo, shower gel, soap, moisturiser and loo roll for the beginning of all our guest stays and once the products are finished, we kindly ask our guests to provide their own thereafter.



Please note the property will be prepared by our professional cleaners, using hotel-quality linen and towels.



If the booking is 14 days or more, we require a mid-stay clean at an additional cost (the price is dependent on property size). Payment will be taken at the time of the booking and the mid-stay clean includes both a clean and linen change.



We can also arrange any additional cleans regardless of the length of the booking upon request.



Please note that check-in is between 3pm and 8pm. Early and late check-ins as well as late check-outs are available on request for an additional fee. Please note that check-ins after 8pm must require a personal check-in at an additional fee.



Where a check in is on a UK bank holiday, there may be an additional surcharge on the cleaning fee as well as an additional cost for a personal check-in.  Please enquire for additional information on this when booking.



The lead guest booking the property must be 25+ years old.

There is no better location.

Close to great busses and tube locations. Loads of tops restaurants and shopping. It’s an dorable unit and has everything you need. A little loud in the mornings but I don’t think there is anyplace that could be better. Being right next to granger and co is a highlight as well. We will go back.

We recently stayed in this 2 bedroom apartment in Notting Hill. It was clean and comfortable with a good bathroom, kitchen and washing machine. It met our needs well (couple and child). Great location, about 10 minutes from Notting Hill tube and less to Portobello Road, with lots of restaurants and pubs within a 10-minute work. There is some noise from the restaurant fans below which start early for breakfast service. Emily was great to deal with including arranging an extension to our stay.

Nice flat in an upscale neighborhood

Our family of four had a great stay at this flat in Notting Hill. This quiet neighborhood had great restaurants and cafes, and had everything we were looking for in a home base. The Underground station (Notting Hill Gate) was a short walk down the street (5-10 min). The flat itself was nice. The bedrooms were cozy and the beds comfortable. The living rooms was a nice to relax after the busy days of exploring. If you are looking to sleep in everyday, you might find that difficult as the windows let in a bit of noise from the alley and streets below, but the nights were quiet and didn't effect our stay.

London For Easter Week

Great spot. We spent the week here using it as base to explore London and nearby. Everything is accessible, neighbourhood is lively and safe. If you want complete quiet, then the early morning deliveries for the downstairs restaurant may bother you. But it’s London, so you expect it to have noise if you aren’t on the 10th floor of a hotel.

Notting Hill getaway

We had a great family visit to London with the spacious and comfortable flat on Westbourne Grove as a welcome landing spot. The neighborhood is bustling so those not used to city noise will notice the action, but I wouldn’t call it loud. The kitchen is a welcome addition for breakfast or takeaway. It was a shame that we couldn’t use the great induction range and Portobello Road produce to the full potential due to the mediocre typical rental cookware and knives. We would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises. Thanks to the Air Peace of Mind team for great communication and a wonderful stay!

Lovely bright clean flat in great location

Close to many shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants. A short walk to the tube and to Hyde Park. The flat is bright, clean, and equipped with all amenities. I hope to stay there again next time I’m in London.

This property is amazing. The attention to detail is perfect - it feels cozy without being cluttered

The property looks exactly like the photos. It is beautiful and very, very comfortable. It is an upstairs flat on a main road, but in the back of the building so it is not too noisy. I live in Los Angeles and I know if you like anywhere in the middle of the city there will be some noise, but being in the back dampens the city sounds. The attention to detail is amazing , feeling cozy and elegant without begin cluttered. It is fully stocked with everything you need for your trip- towels, dishes , pots and pans, coffee maker etc. and even a hairdryer - which is great since trying to find an electricity converter for one is impossible. Emily responded to any questions we had immediately. The area is full of restaurants and coffee shops within steps of the flat. It is walking distance to Portobello Road and many clothing and housewares shops. Having a wonderful place to return to at the end of walking all day was such a treat. It truly felt like home. We are already recommending it to family and friends.

Beautiful flat in a great area but suffers from constant low noise

We stayed a week in this very nicely renovated flat. Unfortunately, there was an almost constant low rumble from the downstairs restaurant's ventilation and cooling engines which made it impossible for us to sleep in the main bedroom (even though we are not unusually light sleepers). In the weekend this was made worse by people leaving the restaurant and continuing their party on the alley right under the windows until 2 am - as the flat has no window insulation it was as if they were in the same room. So unfortunately the flat is only usable as a one-bedroom, and during the week, unless you are a very sound sleeper and stay up late yourself!

Awesome place and location

The location is convenient to travel around London. The neighborhood is lovely and not as busy as central London which made the stay more enjoyable. The restaurant and stores around are excellent. Host was responsive and kept us well informed about everything prior and during our stay.
