I stayed here last week for a business trip to London and overall had a good stay, though there are a few areas that could be improved. I booked a one bedroom suite and was happy with how spacious and clean it was. The room included kitchen amenities like a microwave, fridge, sink, and utensils. I was also on the first floor, which made it convenient to access the ice machine and filtered water station in the gym.
One thing that could have been communicated better was the security deposit at check-in. The receptionist processed the charge without mentioning it, so I was confused when I noticed the amount charged was different from my booking total.
Breakfast was okay, but during the first two mornings the plates and utensils were disposable plastic, and some labels on the jars for jams were faded. Interestingly, on my last morning, proper mugs replaced the disposable cups, the plastic tableware was gone, and the labels had been refreshed - apparently head office was visiting that day. I just wish the same attention to detail had been there throughout the stay.
Since I was traveling for work, I also found the desk setup lacking. The lighting around the desk wasn’t great for working, and there wasn’t a proper desk chair provided. That said, despite seeing many kids in the hotel, it was surprisingly quiet during my stay!
