The photos of this property have to be years old. It is in high need of maintenance. The pool deck, pool table/ air hockey table, ping pong table, skeet ball and video game unit are all in need of repair.

Great house! The pool, hot tub and downstairs entertainment area kept all the grand kids busy and entertained. The location was wonderful as it was easy to get to all the trails we selected to go to. Easy access to stores, gas.stations, etc... property manager was very responsive to a couple of inquiries we had. Family is already talking about next year.

Hocking Hills Get Away

The house was in a private location with close proximity to stores and hiking trails. The house was clean and spacious; the basement was very nice and an ideal extra living space. The kitchen could use decent pans and large size bowls. Our biggest complaint is the outside area, the grass desperately needed to be mowed, the pool was not useable, it was a shade of green. A big reason we rented this house was to have a pool and we were not able to use it. Pictures are very deceiving on the web site, one lounge chair was broken, and deck was in rough shape. Overall, the stay was enjoyable.

Diamond in the rough

The layout of the house is great! Unfortunately, it needs quite a bit of upkeep & updates. An exterminator would also be a plus. Pool had algae & deck needed repairs that could have caused mishaps & injuries.

Wonderful property and excellent location!

The property was beautifully decorated and accommodated our group very well. The layout was nice and the noise from other rooms went unnoticed by all. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Our host was prompt when dealing with any issues and polite. The hot tub did have issues with the filter coming off and the skeeball game did not work but the arcade games were very fun and the entertainment sytem was great with plenty of room for everyone. Being so close the the playground was awesome as we had 2 children in our group, a very short walk and it was right there. Excellent stay overall. Thank you Lance!

Nice place FOUR bedrooms

The place is spacious and very comfortable. My only gripe is that it's listed as having 5 bedrooms when there are actually 4. A bed under the stairs doesn't count as a bedroom.

Fall getaway

Had such a wonderful experience staying in this house, perfect size for our group of 6. Close to all of the hocking hills trails. The hot tub and games in the basement provided entertainment during the fall weather. Wish we stayed longer!!

Home worked but needs attention.

Home worked for what we needed but it needs some attention. Deck boards need are weak, around the pool needs weeded along with front gardens. Inside house needs a good cleaning as there is black mold inside the shower doors and on the shower curtains.

House needs work

Communication with the owner was great. Super fast response when asking questions. This was nice. The location was really good since you aren't too far away from things to do. There is a highway not far from the house, but the noise wasn't bad at all. The issues that we had were bedroom doors not shutting easily. When trying to be quiet while others are sleeping is very hard to do. Cabinet doors were very squeaky. Found a lot of dishes that were dirty and some even had food stuck to them. The outside deck is very warped and may be an issue for some. Like other said, the "5th" bedroom is NOT a bedroom. It is a bed open to basement under the stairway. The trundle would not pull out from this bed, either. I guess the biggest issue is "value for the money". For the amount that was spent on this stay, you would think that there would be less issues on the home.

Great time with some major issues

We had a great time at this property as we celebrated my wife's 40th birthday. The pool was very fun and the hot tub was good too (although a bit old). The kitchen was complete and the house was generally clean. However, we did have a few major issues: 1. When we arrived all of the towels and some of the sheets on the bed were damp and we had to re-wash and dry them. 2. We found a small amount of rat poop in the basement sofa that we were able to clean up ourselves. 3. There was clearly some water damage in the basement. We worried about mold/mildew. 4. The queen bed upstairs had a broken frame and was uncomfortable to sleep in. 5. Check in instructions did not come until the mid-morning of check-in. Check out instructions did not come until 20 minutes before check out. Despite this we had a really nice time. I communicated these issues to the owner who offered some excuses and an apology.

Good place to stay

Property was a little run down. Back deck flooring in need of repair (sagging). Pool and hottub in good condition. Has charcoal grill, not propane as stated in add. We actually enjoyed the charcoal grill. The firepit was great. We are a very active family and enjoyed having the sports complex in the front yard (it was a distance from the house and did not take away from the property). We had a family pickleball tournament. This was our first family vacation as all adults and we all enjoyed the property and would consider going back.

First of all, Lance was very easy to work with and went above and beyond to accommodate our family's needs. The house itself could use some maintenance, but nothing that caused an issue for our stay. My husband, with Lance's approval, bought and installed a new pool ladder as a couple of us were having a lot of difficulty using the one provided. The washing machine is extremely difficult to power on-the power button needed to be pushed quite hard. It was also difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature and humidity level in the house, especially in the lower level. The lower level bathroom is spacious and quite nice, but lacks a shower. It does have a nice whirlpool tub. Having said that, we all enjoyed the pool and location. The kids enjoyed the treehouse as well as the nearby playground, which they were able to walk to. The kitchen had all the necessary items. We were able to cook some really good meals. The beds were comfortable. The first floor master has a very nice adjustable bed. The rec room is very nice and was enjoyed by all of us (8 adults and 2 young children)We were able to have a fun week with family, making some great memories.

I like it

This is a cozy comfortable house. It has almost everything you need for a holiday. Even coffee. The only thing was that I didn't have shampoo in the shower. The kids loved the playroom, tree house, pool and hot tub. The door opens simply with a code. If we are in the area again we will definitely rent this house again.

Nice Family gathering space near Hocking Hills.

We had a great family getaway to extend our holiday time. The Rec room was a nice gathering place where there was something for everyone. Both the game room and family room had very large smart TV's and plenty of seating for watching the game or movies. Very large pantry and fridge as well to store all our food for our large group. Washer and dryer were also a plus. Only 20 minute drive to all the Hocking Hill Parks and a very nice neighborhood park right behind. Note that listing was unclear and that there are really only 4 bedrooms plus one single bed with a trundle and it was in a common area. The hosts were very responsive to any questions or concerns that we had.

Nice place, clean and comfy, game room was disappointing

Great place, hot tub was great, a few things need some attention in the game room … pool table isn’t level and is sagging a bit, air hockey isn’t functional due to a large crack in the table, ping pong downstairs is very small and missing the net/ also not level … some buttons on the gaming center won’t work…. Other than the issues with the game room everything else in the house was great … so if your sold on the game room I’d book somewhere else if that’s what your looking for

Great neighborhood, close to attractions

This house was totally loaded with things to do for adults and kids of all ages. There is a huge backyard that extends into soccer fields and within walking distance to a large playground.

Great Stay

Stayed for Memorial Day weekend and the house had everything we needed & more. It was fully stocked with everything needed in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable. It was super spacious. A great hot tub, gas grill, firepit, & area for kids to play. It’s close to town but still a very private secured location. I would definitely book again!!! No complaints the entire stay. 10/10.
