Rustic Cabin Getaway with Hot Tub, Trails & Fire Pit

Welcome to The Getaway Cabin—a quiet woodland retreat designed for relaxation, simplicity, and a true escape from the everyday.

The cabin features one private bedroom with a full-size bed, along with an open loft offering a king bed and a twin bed—ideal for couples or small families.

Inside, you’ll find vaulted ceilings, a cozy wood-burning fireplace, and an open living space that flows into a spacious, fully equipped kitchen. A flat-screen TV with satellite is available for winding down at the end of the day, along with updated, comfortable décor throughout.

Step outside and enjoy two inviting porches, along with a 6-person hot tub tucked just off the deck—perfect for relaxing while surrounded by the natural beauty of the woods. The outdoor space also includes a Blackstone griddle and a large fire ring. String lights illuminate the path to the fire pit, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for evenings outdoors.

We just installed fast, unlimited Starlink internet at The Getaway! It works very well for streaming movies, browsing, and everyday internet use. Because the cabin is surrounded by wooded, hilly terrain, there may occasionally be very brief interruptions. These are generally unnoticeable while streaming, but guests relying on uninterrupted video meetings, online gaming, or remote work should keep this in mind.

Now that internet service is available, we no longer provide a cabin cell phone. Personal cell service can vary by carrier and location around the property.

The cabin is located on a gravel road that is slightly steep, bumpy, and winding but manageable for most vehicles, though lowered vehicles may have difficulty. During winter weather, AWD or 4WD may be needed, and snow removal is professionally handled as needed.

The cabin uses well water, which is safe to drink, though guests who are sensitive to taste may prefer bottled water.

Whether you’re soaking in the hot tub, enjoying a fire under the stars, or simply taking in the quiet surroundings, The Getaway offers a peaceful setting to recharge and slow down.
