The house was everything they said. Very clean, comfy beds, very lovely setting, and close to all the main caves and trails. We would definitely stay here again if we visit the Hocking Hills. Great communication with the host as well.

This home easily had enough room for 8 women. We had plenty of room to sleep, lounge, relax, shower, and get ready. The location is super convenient if you are looking to go to the state park. The view from the back porch is stunning. The kitchen was stocked with useful amenities. Plenty of parking! The only three reasons why this is not getting five starts is because the beds were pretty uncomfortable (all of them), the ice maker didnā€™t work, and there could definitely be more seating in the living room.

Property was beautiful and relaxing. The description was very accurate. The location was great. Plenty of space for the 8 of us. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend despite the rainy weather. Would definitely rent this property again.

We had such a great stay at this lodging! The property is very private and secluded but was only minutes from Old Man's Cave and under 15 min to get to most other attractions in the area. There are 2 decks that overlook a gorgeous green space with several swings and picnic tables. We saw deer on the property and also heard coyote at night. The outdoor fire pit is large with plenty of seats and twinkle lights. The hot tub was such a delight after a long day of hiking. Having multiple bathrooms on different floors, made sharing with other couples very easy. We used the kitchen to cook and it had everything we needed plus a large dining room table. Check in was very easy and we appreciated the key pad entry instead of managing physical keys during our stay. I highly recommend this rental if you would like privacy and want to be surrounded by nature but also be conveniently located to everything.

While there was an issue initially at check in, the host was super communicative and rectified the situation very quickly. Everything we needed for a girls weekend was there and made our stay amazing. Would stay here again!

Gorgeous landscaped property with many luxury features as described. Location is perfect especially for us this trip just around corner from hocking hills state park the headquarters of our family reunion. Building and property design, inside and outside spaces, work so well together. Great segmentation in living quarters to give separate couples and families their own space and to easily come together. Very highly recommend for travelers to hocking hills region.

The Cave & Creek vacation rental definitely merits 5 stars! The property is in a lovely, quiet setting close to the Hocking Hills State Park. The house sits well off the road, at the end of a long private drive. It is perched on a hill with views over the beautiful, very well-maintained grounds and the little creek which runs along the edge of the lawn. There are great outdoor gathering spaces on the main deck, on the ground level patio, and in the sweet, newly done fire pit area. There is even a small screened room which would be great in bug season. The hot tub was a nice bonus, too. Indoors, the house is very clean, well-appointed, with tasteful decor and some nice art work. There are two big sitting areas and a big dining area. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms seem relatively newly renovated. Communication with the owner was easy and quick. Tip: get your provisions before you get to the house as the closest convenience stores have minimal supplies. Overall, the house was a great place for a few days of gathering, laughing, cooking and eating great food and, of course, hiking in this magical area!

Everything was perfect for a stay! There is plenty of parking, the property is just off the road enough with plenty to land to have privacy, the Wi-Fi is fast, and the house lives up to the pictures. We felt so at home here and would definitely return!!

The property was not the cleanest inside or out. We swept the garage to not track all the dirt inside. We swept the first floor hardwood floors twice daily with no dust pan. We found previous food, toys, and change upon doing so. Wasps in the house. We couldn't open doors or windows due to the condition of the screens.

I can't say enough great things about this rental and the owners! I booked for a family group primarily for 6 elderlies for my mother and her siblings to reunite. This house was perfect! It is VERY clean and has everything you would need to host family and friends! Its large, spacious and the main level is laid out in a way that everyone can still be included in everything at same time. The hot tub was super clean, the landscaping is beautiful, and the fire pit area is awesome! I would not hesitate to book if you are looking and trying to decide! we are already planning next year! The owners really care and will do all they can to help you have a memorable experience! Another big plus is the location to hiking caves and general store, within 1 mile! I thank these owners so much; my family can't stop talking about this trip and the beautiful home I rented!

We had a great time with our children and teen grandchildren. The layout is great with private areas for 3 couples and a bunk room with space for 4. There were ample dishes, pots and pans and utensils to feed all (we had 7, but more would work). Plenty of non stick pans! Only missed soap/shower gel for bathing, but we moved the pump hand soap to the shower and it worked fine. All issues and questions were answered in less than an hour. Would definitely recommend this property for a family getaway. Plan to bring food in, as shopping and dining out is not very convenient. Location is perfect for exploring all areas of the state forest and preserve.

Great spot - so close to Old manā€™s cave. The house was clean and well equipped. I cooked Thanksgiving dinner for 9 with no issues. My only wish was laundry onsite - staying 5 days and hiking creates laundry that had to be done when home instead of being able to come home with clean laundry. Ben was a great communicator and answered our few questions promptly. Would definitely consider meeting family there again!
