Soak in the views from the hot tub or hang by the brand new pool. Spread out in 3 living rooms 2 kitchens and multiple outdoor spaces. Huge Home! Great Pool.

We had 18 adults and 10 kids (Age 10 and under) including babies! Things we LOVED:- The owner was super communicative and wonderful to work with!- The Pool was great! The hot tub is a staircase awayā€” also very nice!- Spacious and super clean! With 28 of us, babies were able to nap when adults and teens were loud, so that worked great. - Private! There were no homes nearby. It was very exclusive feeling and easy to find!Things that could have been improved: - We needed more tables and chairs. Maybe another dining table/chair set in the main kitchen/living area. And another dining style table/chair set in the TV room for playing cards and/or games. Adding an ice maker would be recommendedā€” bring your own bags of ice!- There are only 2 TVs on the property, there could have been a couple more in our opinion.- The laundry was located on the cabin side basement so it felt very far away from the ā€œnewā€ part of the house. You have to travel through 2 bedrooms to get to it. I would recommend a small stackable washer/dryer on the ā€œnewā€ side of the house as an improvement.- We never did find a camp fire ringā€” and the pond was 72 staircase steps down hill.Overall this house is humongous! Plenty of space for lots of people. The kitchen is well stocked (the only thing we couldnā€™t find was a can opener) with great appliances. There was plenty of toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body soap in the bathrooms. Our family had a lot of fun making memories.

Family Reunion Fun

Our group ranged from 1 to 91. The house is HUGE - some of us never got around to visiting all the levels! The 3 kitchens gave adequate cooling space for all the meals we ate there. A downside is there's not a big place for all of us to eat close by so it was a juggle. The pool was a HIT for our group - what a nice place to hang out when back from a hike in Hocking Hills or ZipLining. We did have some maintenance issues (kitchen faucet and door out to pool) that we ended up fixing ourselves after communicating with the owner. Be aware that there are no full bathrooms for all of those staying in the basement sides of either the house or the cabin. For planning it would have been nice to have a full layout of the house and to be kept aware when things advertised on the website were unavailable or changed. Memories were made for our lifetimes - thanks for hosting us!

Our extended family stayed 4 nights. We lucked out with 3 beautiful, sunny days. The property is beautiful and feels very secluded, and yet thereā€™s a Kroger just 10 minutes away. Best view in the house is from the cabin side balcony - I had coffee there every morning and was visited by a deer a few times. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day. The host responded quickly when we had trouble figuring out the A/C when we arrived. The house was clean and well-stocked with basic necessities in the kitchens (except for frying pans) and bathrooms, and I loved that beach towels were provided. A few things you should know, however: the GeoDome does not have a bed and is not in sleeping condition, the paddle boats were not usable - one had a broken pedal and the other two were partially sunk, and there is only one coffee maker for the entire house. There is a nice bonus bedroom in the lowest level of the cabin with a king bed, but you have to walk through another bedroom to get to it. It didnā€™t work out for our group, but it might work for yours. The fire pit is down by the pond, and several in our group couldnā€™t make the steep climb, but thereā€™s a nice fire table on the deck we used instead.

10/10 recommend staying here! Everything you need right on hand, so much to do, so big and spacious. There is something for everyone!! Completely exceeded our expectations, we will definitely be back. Hosts were absolutely awesome and easy to communicate with.

Amazing property in the Hicking Hills

The house is vast with enough space to accomodate a large group, but not feel like you're on top of each other. Everybody can gather, or get some priavacy as they prefer. There are only 7 actual bed rooms with doors, other sleeping areas are open to traffic. It wasn't really a problem, but took some negotiations.

Perfect Getaway For a Large Group

We couldnā€™t have asked for a better rental for our group getaway! With kids ranging in age from 4 to 15, itā€™s not always easy to find a place that keeps everyone happy ā€” but this property delivered in every way. The house was absolutely spotless on arrival and felt instantly welcoming. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, which made group meals a breeze, and every detail had been thought of. Multiple hangout areas helped us all keep our sanity. Communication with the hosts was top-notch ā€” friendly, fast, and helpful from start to finish. There is so much to do right on the property and in the immediate area. The kids are still debating whether the waterfall hike or the fishing pond was the highlight of the trip. (We say both!) Weā€™re already talking about coming back!

Family Vacay

We had a great time being close to Hocking Hills. The property was fun to explore and the kids enjoyed the paddle boards on the lake. We were 16 people and fit comfortably. The property manager was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. The kitchen is well stocked with small appliances and pots and pans.The pool was not open so we canā€™t speak for that. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable.

Getaway with our boys

The property had plenty of space for the large group. We gathered in the large kitchen for meals and used the 2nd kitchen as a back up. The boys loved the hot tub and back deck area. The surrounding state park is a must see.

Family Christmas

Every year we bring our family - kids and grands - to Hocking Hills for a week after Christmas. It's our time to run away from day to day life and just BE. We merge 6 families with ages from 4 to 70. This property was beautiful and I was able to easily take to older grands hiking just on the property. This is an excellent property if some want to be more distant, more away from the rest of the family, since the log cabin portion is separated by a long hall ("the secret passageway" according to the grands). Our only concern was the kids bunk room was well separated from where parents would sleep. Otherwise, an excellent stay!

Perfect Retreat!

The property was exactly what we were looking for! Our staff of 13 stayed with plenty of room and great hangout spaces. There were games, an Xbox, and beautiful hiking spaces to enjoy. Hot tub was in perfect condition and the sauna was amazing after a hike. Great experience. Canā€™t wait to come back next year!

Wonderful Winter Stay

Excellent property for multi family get together. Plenty of bathrooms, bedrooms and parking. Everyone was able to spread out and enjoy themselves. Kitchen was awesome with enough seating for all. We spent most of our time playing games in the lower level. Kids enjoyed hiking on property in the snow.

Two for One

This property is like having two vacation getaways in one rental. The cabin is quiet and cozy while the main home is spacious and filled with great spaces to host a large family gathering. The main kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals with high end appliances and a large island. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are stocked with towels, soap, and shampoo in case you forgot anything. The property has a great variety of spaces to accommodate your whole group at once or to break off for some quiet time. The pond, trails, and grounds are beautiful. The host was very responsive and welcoming. Thank you!

A wonderful home for a big family gathering

The 18 members of our extended family gathered in this fantastic home to celebrate Thanksgiving. The home is beautiful and there is space for everyone to be together or find a bit of quiet time. The hosts are very thoughtful. The fluffy towels were a particularly nice treat as was the fact that they provided coffee filters and coffee. The two kitchens, particularly the large main kitchen, provided a ton of cooking space; we were able to collectively prepare Thanksgiving dinner without falling over each other. The hot tub was also a big hit, particularly during the light snow showers. It was great to be nice and warm while the snow collected on the patio chairs. The property also has some nice hiking trails through the woods. The trails we took were clear and easy to follow. All in all, this is a topflight home that is perfect for large groups. The photos on the VRBO website accurately convey the details, but can't quite convey the overall spaciousness of the home. Thanks to the hosts for making this wonderful home available.

Wonderful Stay

We were there to celebrate my husband's 50th Birthday with friends and family. We were about 29 people including kids. We were there the weekend when there was the storm. As soon we as reached there we realized that there was no power but thankfully half of the property has the generator power so it was ok. The property owner was very responsive to our phone calls and messages and kept us posted about the status of the power that did not return till we left. Overall it was an awesome experience which would have been a disaster if Justin was not responsive to our calls and messages. He helped us in every way possible to make our weekend memorable.

Wonderful Family Reunion Weekend !!!

The house is beautiful and the grounds as well. We had a family reunion for 27 and had a wonderful time. The house offered wonderful rooms, plenty of activities like the pool, ping pong and jacuzzi. The kids loved the bunkbed area and xbox game. The hike down to the lake for fishing and hiking was fantastic. Beautiful views from everywhere. Everything was just the best!!!

Loch Llyn -- such a special place and a wonderful time!

Our extended family of 7 households from 2 cities has a 3-decade tradition of spending a week together in the summer. This was our first time in Hocking Hills, and our first time staying "all under one roof" (usually, we are in 5 or 6 individual cabins), and it was a fabulous experience. Loch Llyn is a magnificent facility, offering our group of 20 (ages 13-73) a variety of sleeping arrangements, hang-out areas, and activities. The large central kitchen is magnificent, and the pool was a truly special feature. So many other things I could also mention, including the hot tub, the swinging chairs, and the pool table and large TV in the entertainment room -- we had 2 fun movie nights! The only feature we didn't use very much was the large pond and paddle boats -- the path to the pond is very steep, so only a few of us went there a couple of times. The owners are fabulous and very responsive. They answered all our questions beforehand, and responded immediately the only time we had a serious issue: a storm came through and blew down a large tree limb, where it landed on the road, effectively blocking us in. Within minutes of us contacting Dustin, he had someone there to take care of it! Of course, we thoroughly enjoyed the wider Hocking Hills area, including the unique hiking trails in Hocking Hills State Park. But there's also lots of nature to enjoy right there at Loch Llyn, starting with the beautiful vista off the deck and the soundtrack of birdsong in the morning.

Absolutely Stunning Property & Room for All!!

We had a large family gathering for 25 people including babies, kids, teens, parents, grandparents, and great grandparents! There was PLENTY of room for all, beautiful accommodations (inside and out), super clean pool, large kitchen, lake, and gathering spaces. The host was very prompt and accommodating with our needs. We were first timers to the area, and weā€™ll be back!!
