"Absolute treasure. Went for a retreat to get some work done. It could not have been more perfect. Staff super respectful and approachable. Room was spacious, clean and sound proof. Breakfast was excellent....loved the banana and peanut smoothie. what a combo. And after a hard day's work, it was relaxing in the sauna/steam room& jaccuzzi. Planning on bringing a team of people for group bonding sessions.....with the vast green lands and lots of conference rooms and break out open...

"My husband and I stayed on a Saturday night in November as a birthday treat. We stayed in the loft suite. This room is clean, cosy beautifully decorated. The bathroom is amazing ! We absolutely loved the jetted bathtub. It really was a selling point for us. Breakfast was very nice. Lovely fresh eggs. We enjoyed having our own private dining toom too. Paul was very nice and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you ."

"Ockenden manor was beautiful and staff very accommodating and friendly. We were also upgraded at check in which was a nice surprise. The room was beautifully designed, and bathroom and bedding were clean, although we did find two pieces of rubbish left behind by a previous guest in the room. Hotel guests can access the spa at no additional cost from 2pm on day of check in to 2pm on day of check out and the spa facilities were beautiful. Good vegan and veggie options at breakfast. "We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chestnut Tree. Lisa, the host was the main reason, she is a great communicator which is important when booking. She was so very helpful with local information and incredibly kind. Our room was beautiful and the amenities in the bathroom delightful. The area is beautiful but with only one night, we didn’t get the change to do much exploring. Next time. Thank you Lisa for a wonderful stay."

"Booked the budget single room but it was spotlessly clean and everything worked well from the TV to the bath (no shower just a hand held shower for hair). Friendly team and the Sunday roast dinner plus breakfast were nicely cooked. Decent car park and beer too. Thank you"

"The bed was really uncomfortable, which was a surprise for a PI, as they pride themselves on the bed comfort. The bar was open late which was great. The parking is small, only 17 spots and you pay for this daily. "

"There actually was not a breakfast. However, the hotel includes a charming pub where we enjoyed an excellent pub lunch. As a whole we very much enjoyed the White Horse Inn. Our room seemed a little small and we shared a bathroom. We did find a restaurant within a short walking distance where we enjoyed breakfast. "

"Very convenient for an early flight from Gatwick airport. Good value, conveniently located a few minutes drive from Purple Parking, and provided a breakfast bag as I had to leave before breakfast. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was tiny but it didn’t matter too much as I was there for one night only."
