This was the best property (VRBO and other) we’ve stayed at in a while, maybe ever! The hosts were extremely gracious and left us DOZENS of welcome treats and food staples (including wine, snacks, and eggs) free of charge! We cooked all our meals for the trip at the house and had more than enough options for the cookware and dishes we needed. The house really is fully stocked and the appliances are very nice. 100x better than your usual coffee pot and microwave or even basic kitchen.We only experienced one inconvenience (the usual cleaner had an emergency and so the host was still cleaning the house herself when we arrived), but she more than made up for it (beach supplies package and late check out free of charge) and had a great attitude of humility and flexibility.Beds were comfortable, showers nice and spacious, location ideal (5min walk to the public beach). We highly recommend this host and property!!

Wonderful house

The house was a perfect place between Shenandoah and Mt Vernon. Very clean, beautifully decorated and stocked with goodies! We appreciated the Christmas decor as we were celebrating together! Highly recommend

Lake of the Woods

The house was very clean and well furnished. A lot of thoughtful ammenties to make things more comfortable. Work starion was great for remote work. Owner was resposive and helpful. Great for famillies and very welcoming to dog owners.

Family Celebration

Quaint and cozy

Loved this property! It is right out of Good Housekeeping Magazine! Most attention to detail we’ve ever seen with the croissants and wine, the snacks. The ping pong setup is genius! We will definitely book this property again the next time.

Beautiful home in the Woods!

This property was gorgeous and owners thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable! Information from owners about the property and amenities was excellent! Home was very clean! Listing says it sleeps 8-we did have 8 but it was a little tight. We put an air mattress in master bedroom which worked fine for our party but I think putting in the listing sleeps 6 or 7 is more realistic. We were in the area for a family reunion so didn’t get to take advantage of all the activities in the Lake of the Woods community. I would definitely recommend and will stay again in the future if we are back in the area! And just a side note, the pictures on the listing don’t really show how beautiful this home is!

Gorgeous home!

The house is gorgeous (we snapped a couple pics for future building inspo!). Carla was amazing to communicate with and so sweet. The home came equipped with anything you could ask for from snacks (my kids dove into those!), pet poo bags and treats, laundry supplies, often forgotten items like q-tips and a spare toothbrush as well as a fully set up coffee bar with everything you needed to get ready for the day. Our stay was fabulous and I would gladly stay in any home of theirs!

Amazing House

We booked this house for a quite weekend. The pictures in the listing look great. The house is even better in person. The owners did a fantastic job on this house, and did not leave any item unthought of. The house was spotless. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you need to cook with. Check in/check out was easy. We are definitely looking forward to coming back in the summer to enjoy sone of the neighborhood lake amenities.

Beautiful Cottage

Beautiful home walking distance from the beach. Pictures do not do this place justice. Fully equipped kitchen with every gadget you could imagine. Brent and Carla were outstanding hosts and went out of their way to make us feel at home.

This cute cottage is absolutely beautiful inside. The owners attention to detail in every part of the house is what make this stay amazing. There has been no short cuts taken. The towels are plush, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you could ever need and the coffee bar is top notch. This property exceeded our expectations.

Nice but pricey

We enjoyed the property and the location but felt it was too pricey. My father rented a larger cabin on the water for half the price. I feel as if the price goes up when there are fewer other rentals.

A Perfect Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, super comfortable home. We spent some time delving into Civil War history which is all around the home. Our hosts had numerous places of interest available, including other places of interest. Communication with the hosts was easy and correspondence quickly addressed. The house had everything one needs from A thru Z, including well thought out amenities. We would love to curl up in front of the fireplace in autumn and winter with cups of hot chocolate, readily available at the beautiful coffee/tea/tiki bar. If ever we travel to Virginia again this will be our destination of choice. Our dog loved his treats, thank you!🐾

College friends girls’ weekend

Not only is this house full of fun design & decorating details, it’s very comfortable & functional. The hosts thought of everything a guest could need & were very generous with snacks, wine, toiletries, etc. We felt at home instantly. Hosts were very helpful and responsive on messenger before & during our stay. Very happy we found such a great place.

Lovely home

This home was so clean and beautifully remodeled. Plus the owner had stocked the shelves with items needed to stay put for some nice R&R. There is a Walmart nearby to grocery shop plus a great restaurant called Clearwater Fire Grill. Theis home is in a gated community with activities to be enjoyed plus lakes and parks with walking trails.

Incredible home with luxury features!

Book this home now! The thoughtfulness shows in every corner of this home! They go above and beyond and other listing we’ve ever stayed at! The kitchen is stocked with so many Ninja appliances you’ll feel like you’re home! The coffee/tea/cocktail bar is super stocked as well! The showers are huge and luxurious! The bed was super comfortable! The tech/electric fireplaces among the home is super easy to use! Location is phenomenal and so close to so many gems! Will absolutely 100% be back every season! Loved this place a lot!
