"I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae."

"Pros: Location was perfect! Space in the apartment was ample. We had everything we needed. Kitchen was perfectly supplied! Cons: it was very cold! There are no extra blankets so be prepared. Bring extra warm lounging clothes and pajamas. There is one space heater, but easily could use one for every room. We moved it around for comfort. "There is no parking for this place. The parking that they list on their email is only for permit holders. This greatly reduced my rating. The apartment itself could use a good deep clean. Tons of dust, the couch was covered in stains, the blanket on the couch was very smelly and dirty. The location is okay, far walks and bus rides to everything. "

"The Four Sisters was a unforgettable experience I would recommend. The location is convenient to the historical sites and museums of Edinburgh. We were fortunate to be there during the local canal festival and were able to learn more about the area and join the community. The staff was helpful and just a text away. The plumbing is a bit tricky but you are on a boat and once we got the hang of it, there were no problems"

"Excellent host, excellent location, and an excellent apartment. Adam was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. It was our first time using Vrbo, so we weren’t familiar with the app and missed some of the clear instructions that were listed. He kindly came to help us with the check-in and answered all of our questions. The apartment was very well located and well maintained. It is also very well equipped with everything you need, including a full kitchen. We definitely enjoyed our stay."

"Host welcomed us upon arrival. Great little apartment, perfect for my daughter and I. We were there for a month. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well heated - important in January! Well equipped kitchen and new appliances Walking distance to most anything you want to see. Every type of food imaginable available within a couple of blocks. The location was excellent, easy walking distance of the Royal Mile and most tourist attractions. The flat was warm with lots of hot water, and was clean but basic.
