PeliCann Sands Beach House - Loch Sport

Three bedroom dog friendly house which sleeps 6 people. Our location is a 2 minute walk to Lake Victoria beach via Power St or Clarke St in Loch Sport. Our house has been renovated with a new kitchen, bathroom, laundry and a deck for the those sunny BBQ nights with nibbles and drinks, playing board games or cards. There is room to park your boat and/or caravan in the yard plus cars.

The 1 minute walk to the relaxing Lake Victoria beach and lake where you can bring your gazebo or beach shelter and watch your children from the shore. The shore is shallow and safe for kids to swim in and great for kayaking, canoeing, wind surfing, jet skiing, paddle boarding, fishing, boating, building sand castles, skim boarding. Watch the beautiful sunsets across the lake, they are magic. Sometimes when its quite dolphins pass by. There is an abundance of wildlife with kangaroos, koalas, echidnas, wombats and more.

There is also the surf beach which is a 5 minute drive to the 90 Mile Beach from our house where you can take the dog for a run, go surf fishing. (Please Note: There are no life guards)

Bring your bike and ride around town, everything is a bike ride away.

Visit the local pub, foodworks, cafe, market at the cfa on a Sunday morning, golf club, bowls club, RSL, boat club, discover national park an jetty.

A Perfect Long Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful long weekend stay in Loch Sport and couldnā€™t have asked for a better host than Michelle. She was incredibly accommodating, always quick to respond to any questions, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. We were celebrating my mumā€™s 90th birthday, and Michelle even left a lovely card and some biscuits ā€“ such a thoughtful touch that meant a lot to us.The location is fantastic ā€“ just a short walk to the beach, local shops, and the bistro. The house itself was cozy and welcoming, with a warm log fire that we enjoyed every evening. Our pets, Max and Chloe, also had a great time and settled in easily.Highly recommend staying here ā€“ weā€™d love to come back!

Excellent stay at Loch Sport

Checked in with my wife and 18 year old daughter in April. Communication with Michelle before check in was excellent.The house was well equipped, ver y good TV entertainment ans games, very well stocked kitchen.Most importantly, our 40kgs Goldie could move around freely in and out of the house.I would highly recommend this holiday home.Thanks a lot Michelle.The

Great property and location!

Loved our stay at PeliCann Sands :) Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, great alfresco area where we spent most of our time. Lots of ā€˜little extrasā€™ to help with a holiday stay. Our dog enjoyed the space around the yard and the serenity.Perfect location to walk to the beach lake with our paddle boards and to the lake side walking track. Michelle was great on communication.

Great place to stay

We had a great time. The area is very beautiful. There aren't a lot of options for shops or restaurants but if you want to just cook yourself, it's perfect. The property had everything you'd have at home and more probably.

Weekend getaway

We had a great time at Michelle's place. Such a lovely place with everything we needed and so close to everything... no more than a couple of minutes walk to the lake, 10 mins or so to the Marina and not far from everything else. You can litterally walk everywhere from here, which we did... Michelle was one of the best hosts we have ever had who made sure everything was perfect for us and was second to none in terms of communication. I would defintely stay here again.

Quiet break in May

We loved the property and everything we needed was there. We had our 2 big hounds with us and they loved the whole area especially the walks along 90 Mile Beach. It is out of the way and very quiet during May, but that is what we needed. We would recommend this place to anyone, especially if you have dogs.

Unforgettable memories

Everything about our stay was just perfect. Michelle was definitely the best host we ever had contact with. Her knowledge of the area and activities in the area was impressive and greatly appreciated. The house was very clean, spacious and very close to the beach. The whole family really enjoyed our time at pelicann sands. Michelle was very thoughtful even leaving a gift for us and handwritten note welcome us. There was even special doggie treats and food for our family dog Frank! Overall we were so happy with everything, we even booked this property again and planning to book over and over again! Summer 2024/25 here we come!

Quiet and relaxing holiday

This house ticked so many boxes for us. That spacious verandah with a huge BBQ, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms. The street was so quiet and easy access to a beautiful beach just around the corner. A great place to relax and unwind.

Fully fence house for big and small dogs

Excellent house, all appliances and everything very clean. Great place for a family gateway. it is fully fence so we could relax while our mastiff and boxer run around inspecting everything. It was also very friendly place for a chihuahua visiting us.
