"Clean, spacious rooms with nice views. Good car parking. Generally well organised. The dog-friendly room came with dog beds and dog towels which were thoughtful/ useful additions.
For a dog-friendly hotel some aspects weren't very dog friendly eg not allowed to leave dogs in room alone but also they weren't allowed in the breakfast room either. We were therefore shown to the bar area to have our breakfast but this wasn't ideal/welcoming. Breakfast was nice with good selection.

"The room was exceptionally well maintained and updated. The staff, well if anyone says anything negative about this particular staff they would be lying, they were the most amazing group of employees we have ever had dealings with. The food was amazing, I am now hooked on Black Pudding, thank you Fonab. We did not get to use the spa or the pool, we were too busy traveling the beautiful Highland countryside. I went to the bar for a nightcap. It was nearly empty. I was served my drink in a dirty glass. There was no ice left in the bucket. The member of staff showed no intention of going for more ice. It was a poor end to the day"
"O hotel é antigo o acesso aos quartos são péssimos. Os corredores possuem várias portas o que prejudica o conforto de quem está querendo descansar, pois é porta batendo a madrugada inteira. Não havia elevador, tivemos que subir escadas com nossas malas. O estacionamento é pequeno e apertado. O atendimento no check e checkout é bom, mas do café da manhã é muito ruim."
