"It was a great stay in Loch Ness Gate House Apartment. There is very clean and spacious. Both the bedroom are very big. The king and queen bed are very comfortable. The decoration is also very tasteful. The best is the open kitchen. All cooking utensils are fully equipped, including salt, oil, sugar and dishwasher.
I messeged the House from Hotels.com, and got a reply regarding the checkin arrangement 3 days before. I received a text messeged at 1400 on check in day from the House telling...

"Der Check-in verlief reibungslos und schnell. Waren früher da und konnten spontan früher rein. Gordon war innerhalb von 5 Minuten da. Das Appartement ist sauber, modern und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Zentral gelegen kann man von dort seine Tagesausflüge starten.Einziges Manko war die Küche. Nicht weil sie klein war sondern die Angst eines Feueralarmes hat uns abgehalten dort zu kochen. Die Küche ist klein, hat aber alles was man braucht. Die Hinweisschilder...

"Unique location ...close to Loch Ness boat tours, gas station/grocery about 2 blocks away and variety of restaurants. I recommend The Bothy for dinner. If you have anyone in your party with mobility issues....up multiple flights of stairs...you should move on. Communication was great and arrival instructions clear. Combo washer and dryer was the only negative experience we had...instructions were left but had never used one before and couldn't get the hang of it....surely my error."

"Dangerous property. Fell down the stairs both days that we stayed. They are extremely slick in the apartment. Smelled old and damp. Window in the family room would not go up so se had a draft the entire time. Photos are much better than the actual look. Very dark corridors not bright like the photos. Kind of depressing. They are a stickler about you arriving at a certain time."

"Amazing place, totally out of this world, perfect to get away from the busy everyday life. The monastery is magical, walking around the beautiful corridors, the courtyard, or just walking out to the lake, the whole place is so serene and blissful. "This holiday was amazing. We took over four apartments between 12 family members. We travelled from Manchester and Stirling. What an experience!
