"We had a wonderful stay here, 20 minutes outside of Ullapool. The house was immaculate and full of light, with a nicely-equipped kitchen and a very comfortable bed. We could walk right out the door and down the road or up the hill for walks with incredible views. Hated to leave!"

"Fantastic situation which suited us and our 2 dogs perfectly. You need to be organised with food due to the nearest shop being over 30 miles away but that being said we found some fantastic eateries on our road trips around the area. The negatives are that the ceiling are very low the stairs awkward and narrow and the condition is basic. Take chairs with you so that you can enjoy the sun trap garden. Luckily we had really good weather (last week in Apri)"

"My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful three weeks at Foinaven, and had a couple of friends from home visit for a week during our stay. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cottage was quintessential Scottish and beautiful. Beds very comfortable. Only suggestion would be to have a coffee maker for those of us who would like a pot of coffee and didn’t have a dryer. Fortunately we were able to dry clothes in the glorious sunshine while we were in the Highlands. Strathpeffer was a lovely place to visit. Drove to Ullapool for the day, great day trip. Overall, highly recommend this beautiful spot!"

"Ons verblijf was super. Verblijf is prachtig gelegen aan het water. Hebben verschillende uitstapjes/wandelingen gemaakt in de nabije omgeving (Poolewe en Grailoch). In het kleine verblijf was alles aanwezig van afwasmachine tot wasmachine, kookgerei etc. Teleurstellend was de communicatie, die was er helemaal niet. We hebben een paar dagen van te voren via de site aangegeven wanneer onze aankomst zou zijn. Helaas is daar geen antwoord op gekomen. Ook gebeld maar kregen een ingesproken bericht....
