"Minor problem with the Wifi as the plasterer had been in and ripped the old wiring out, Host came down and sorted it out which was great as it was quite late when we arrived. In terms of cleanliness the upstairs was spotless. Downstairs dining room had some mess where the plasterer hadn't tidied up but the Host was very apologetic and sorted it. My only concern would be in the Kitchen the dishwasher needs to be swapped around with the washing machine as you can only open the dishwasher to 45...

"We enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage. There were some initial issues which were resolved by the owner very promptly. The information from Oyster Cottages describes a Superking size bed in the main room, It is a very comfy bed in a lovely room but it is only a Kingsized. The two singles in the 2nd bedroom downstairs can be converted to a Superking size though.
My score of 3 on cleanliness is due to this being an old property and there were inevitable cobwebs in nooks and crannies but we found...

"Good value but the whole house could do with a thorough deep clean and a review of condition of fixing and fixtures plus updating. It would also be good to ensure there are suitable kitchen pans and tools as would be expected for a house that houses 10 occupants.
As well as a deep clean, it would be nice that someone ensured all cutlery and plates were in a clean state prior to being occupied as we had to wash everything before use.
Despite this we had an excellent short stay."

"We absolutely loved our stay here, the cottage is old and many would say requires modernisation but we felt it all added to its character and charm. The beds were comfy as were the sofas and the kitchen was fully supplied with everything you could need.
The grounds were fantastic and we had many games of football, rounders and hide and seek with a group of 4 children under 10. We spent every evening outdoors and made the most of the hot tub and the bbq. The views from the garden are also...
