"We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and were shown to the room which was clean and bright. The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards. "My wife and I both agreed that the overnight stay we had there was very good, everything you could have wanted was there, the bed was lovely and the room was spot on. The next morning we went down to the restuarant and to an excellent breakfast. All in all we would have no hesitation in staying there again."

"Lovely old building, good location exceptional breakfast. Parking is a bit of a nightmare after a 10 point turn in the car park had to find parking across the road which was no problem for my little car but you might struggle with a bigger car."

"The room we had was fairly run down. In particular it had a strong and unpleasant odour. At first we thought having the windows open would help. But part way through the night the smell was so terrible we were awake. In the morning we realised it must have been mildew and mold. Some of the glass window pains had black mould, not only around the edges but in the middle of the glass. We left pretty early because we couldn't be in the room anymore.
