On a clear day it is possible to view miles of coastline both towards Aberystwyth and beyond the Lleyn Peninsula, Bardsey Island and even Snowdonia to the north and down towards Aberarth and Newquay Head.
The lovely open plan accommodation for two affords comfort and space all on one floor and is entirely private. It includes central heating, a living/dining area, two televisions, a fully fitted kitchen with fridge, dishwasher and microwave, plus a comfortable, tiled wash room with walk in shower and toilet. The bedroom has a super kingsize bed with adequate cupboard space and a west facing window to catch the stunning sunsets. Full length fold away windows at the front ensure that guests can enjoy the views and use the large outside deck when the weather is favourable where there are also daybeds and a dining table and chairs. The deck is surrounded with state of the art glass fittings to shelter from the sea breezes without losing the fabulous views. There is a second garden area with seating. Private parking is at the rear as is the washing area with automatic washing machine and ironing/drying facilities. Whether you are looking for a quiet, romantic and private get away or a base to explore all the lovely places in Ceredigion, Plas Bach is ideally situated as it is equidistant from Cardigan and Aberystwyth and only 5 miles from the stunning Harbour town of Aberaeron with its shops and restaurants.
The local village less than a mile away has a pub that serves food, a post office and general stores and a butcher’s serving locally reared meat. Plas Bach is ideal for couples who like walking being adjacent to the Ceredigion coastal path and having direct access from the public car park across from the bridge over the Cledan for walks south to Aberaeron and Newquay and from the village (by the church) for walking to Aberystwyth and beyond. View our local dolphins from Newquay or visit many beauty spots including Devils Bridge which you can access by car or by steam railway from Aberystwyth and the beautiful Llyn Brianne dam from Tregaron. Birdwatchers will be in their element with the many sea and land birds including the red kite to be seen from the balcony of the cottage. Plas Bach is a beautiful compact property in a unique and secluded location with fabulous uninterrupted views, its own access road and private parking, yet within easy reach of all local attractions and with direct access to the Ceredigion Coastal path. Lovely property in a stunning location. Welcoming andvhelpful hosts. Plenty to do and see without having to go too far. Particularly good for guests with limited mobility...everything was within easy reach and the grab rails in the bathroom much appreciated. Bathroom floor has seen better days but otherwise excellent!
