"We had an absolutely wonderful time here. It was exactly what we needed to get away from work and kids for a long weekend. It's far enough off the beaten path that you feel secluded and private but you're close to Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock for days out there. The cabin was cozy but not tight-quartered and felt very relaxing. Many birds and deer can be seen right from the porch, adding to the seclusion. We loved our stay and would certainly want to come back."

"Loved our stay. Host very responsive and easy communication. Cutest little house, loved the esthetics and my husband said the bed was so comfortable. Enjoyed the nice hot tub and walking distance to Main Street and coffee places. Will definitely be back and may bring our little kids next time as cute upstairs area for them and house located on a quiet cul de sac. Even saw some deer and a three legged cat greeted us and our dog when we arrived. Also great fully fenced backyard for our dog. "

"Definitely was not warned about the treacherous steps of doom leading down to the property. We are abeled bodied adults so we were fine but it should be in the description so others are warned if they are unable to do the steps. Also there is a tenant above you that like to deep clean and do laundry early in the morning and you can hear it all. "We stayed at The Bird Haus in Fredericksburg for the weekend and absolutely loved it! It was the perfect spot for enjoying Oktoberfest and hiking nearby. The home was spotless and cozy, with fresh linens, a relaxing jacuzzi tub, and so many cute little details that made it feel extra special. Check-in was easy, and the host was kind and responsive. We had such a relaxing stay and would definitely book The Bird Haus again next time we’re in Fredericksburg!"

"This stay was clean and well appointed. There were a few small things that would definitely make it even better. The patio was covered with leaves, dirt and limbs, had the cleaners blew it off it would help keep the hot tub clean. We could not get the kurig to work, and the upstairs bedroom really needs a window unit or portable AC. But it fit our group fine in all other aspects. It was well stocked and the interior was very clean, "
