"This holiday let might be small but has everything you'll need for a relaxing, comfortable stay. Not difficult to find, at the end of a country track. It being late December, I appreciated the heating which was controllable and kept me nice and toasty. Lovely views - I love this part of Wales. Ideal base for walkers who don't need to walk up mountains, moderately-high hills will do. Reasonably private but not isolated. The owner is nearby should you have a problem. "Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor...

"Really enjoyed our time at the Little Cow House. Starting with the very warm welcome from our lovely hosts and delicious welcoming homemade cake. The house is very nicely furnished, immaculately clean and very well equipped, and is warm and cosy; you can hear the river rushing in the valley below and the rooms have lovely views of trees and fields. Would like to come back and visit again in the summer to really make the mot of the great walks and sights in the area."
