The town of Llandrindod Wells is 8 miles and has an abundance of shops, restaurants and interesting walks and a fabulous lake that you can take a stroll round whilst listening to the local wildlife. Offa’s Dyke, a famous walking trail, is only a 20-minute drive, and there are plenty of other scenic walks nearby. The Royal Welsh showground, 15 miles, has lots to offer in the way of events and shows, not forgetting the famous Royal Welsh Show in July. Elan Valley is a must see with some fabulous dams and areas to explore. Pub 3 miles.
