It is also 12 miles from the Elan Valley, which has some outstanding walks and superb sites to see including the dams and beautiful birds of prey. The spa town of Llandrindod Wells is 7 miles away with an array of shops, restaurants, and the lake is worth a visit. For those wanting to bring their bicycles or simply walk in the beautiful countryside, this is the place to be.
