"A good location for exploring the area with easy parking. The room was OK for a night, but I would describe it as tired (e.g. carpet looking in need of a good clean or replacement, bed/mattress seen better days, and much dust inside the desk lamp). I cannot comment on the inclusive breakfast because it didn't start until 8 am and we needed to be away by 7:30."

"The location was perfect and our room was lovely and clean. Nice pubs and Londis within walking distance. Owners, Kel and Mel were very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area, giving directions to walks along the canal and the history of the local area. The cooked breakfast was outstanding!"

"Turned up to find our key out on a table, with our name and details where to find the room Everyone else who was staying also had their keys laid out with names/room details. No-one available to speak to, in-person, at check-in. We were in the family room, at the back/outside of the property. Whole room smelt of grease due to the chip shop adjoining the hotel. To be fair, the hotel itselt smelt greasy. Toilets were filthy with broken seats, one of the shower trays filthy and not clean. The...

"Room.was very clean with a few little extra touches. Staff were very helpful. Not luxurious but perfectly acceptable for a couple of nights. Breakfast was good for an extra payment. Convenient location for town. Would definitely use again. "

"We stumbled upon this place by accident while looking for a pitstop, and what a find! We originally planned for one night but enjoyed it so much we extended our stay to two. Olivia was great, she was welcoming, friendly, and went out of her way to make us feel accommodated, the zip wire, archery and axe throwing activities were great fun for our children. "I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "
