"Our host was simply wonderful! I cannot say enough good things about this experience. This was a delightful gathering of friends in Lucca. I definitely recommend having Monica cook a meal for you one night while you stay- you will not be disappointed. I also recommend buying some of Monica's cheeses to enjoy while you are there- they pair perfectly with local meats, and you cannot get fresher cheese than this. Hospitality and responsiveness was wonderful- and they have many great insights on...

"Our 5 days stay in this house was above our expectations. Franco, the owner was incredibly helpful and since it was a birthday celebration he was especially attentive. The rooms are large and airy with comfortable beds, amazing garden and great and clean pool. The agency that rents out is professional, quick to respond and very helpful.And - the chefs they provided to us were the best we have experienced in terms of taste, setting, and cleaning. It would have been helpful to be given advice that it is quite intimidating driving up to the villa from Bagni di Lucca, and that we should only rent a very small vehicle. The Australians and Americans in our group really struggled with the road and the access to the villa itself. "
