"Amazing hotel and facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful for everything we needed. The view you get from the hotel is just something else. Watching the sunset from the pool was unforgettable. "This was our 2nd stay in Villa Varkoula. It’s a simple but lovely villa, with pool and great views of hills. Very peaceful. A joy to watch the swallows/swifts dipping down to sip from the swimming pool, a few sightings of an eagle and cute bats in the evening. A car is essential, but the town of Lixouri and several lovely and not too busy beaches are all within a short drive. Perfect for a quiet getaway or as a base to explore the wonderful island of the Kephalonia."

"Our stay at the villa was idyllic. Beautiful property which was maintained to the highest standards. Everything was spotless when we arrived and the hosts performed a clean after our first week.
