"The staff were ok. The room was like going back in time. The furniture was discoloured and very dated. The bathroom was not great. Very disappointed with the breakfast. The photos show a nice continental breakfast but in reality you get some toast with jam or cereal with tea or coffee
The rooms are not soundproof and we had some very loud ladies in the next room that decided to shout until 2am so no sleep for us
All in all we would rate our experience a 2 out of 10 and that is being generous...

8.6 de 10, Excelente, (532 avaliações)
"Arrived on Sunday evening. Had been held up at an engagement but had a table booked during my journey for 20.45. Arrived at the pub/reception at 20.53 (booking line stated I had a 15 minute grace period). Told rather rudely that the kitchen had closed ages ago. I pointed out that I'd booked a table for 20.45 to which the reply was 'well it's now 20.53'. I stated that the booking said there was a 15 minute grace period and I had been stuck in traffic during my 2 hours drive, so couldn't help...

Aston Court Derby City Centre by BelvillaDerby
7.8 de 10, Boa, (787 avaliações)
"When reviewing Aston Court, it is important to balance it against the price paid.
Yes the rooms are dated and basic, and the floorboards creak, but as a solo traveller looking for somewhere to sleep it was perfectly adequate. It was cheap, conveniently situated and clean.
If that is what you are looking for, this hotel is fine. If you are planning a romantic break with your partner, you probably need to 'dip deeper into your pocket'"

"We welcomed the useful car park with my daughter’s pending wedding and ease of access to town. Room was clean but very hot although fan was provided but noisy overnight and didn’t rotate & only one window opened -
Despite this and noisy guests in proximity - everything else was good. Breakfast and staff were helpful and especially at breakfast the staff member was pleasant and I noted took time to talk to guests and was very amenable.
Thank you for a good stay prior to wedding. 😊"
