"We had a lovely weekend at Arden House. Lucie organised everything with so much attention to detail and care that being there felt like a cosy home. We even received a welcome card and chocolate Easter eggs every time the room was cleaned. The location was also great, just a five-minute walk from the castle. The rooms were spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend staying there!"

"Stayed here over the bank holiday as a family of 4. The hotel itself is nice and the outside space is green and relaxing. However, we were given a very hot top-floor room during 28°C weather, with no air conditioning and windows that barely opened. The fan provided did not help and none of us could sleep. "There was nowhere to eat. We walked into the hotel restaurant at around 6pm. The restaurant was almost empty, but were told they can’t serve us as we didn’t have a reservation. We asked if we can get room service we weee told no. We asked if we can eat at the outside terrace bar, we were told that was closed. We told staff repeatedly the restaurant next door on the promaenade was no longer serving dinner and we would like to have dinner at the restaurant. We were told we should walk around 10...

"Had everything we needed. Room small but only for one night. Tea and snacks provided. Bed comfortable. Quiet and just round corner to sea. Grest value for money. Check in easy snd parked in front. "

"Great location. Inflexible menu on the day so had to eat elsewhere no accommodation La were made for us. Clean room But many hairs in the bedding inbetween mattress protector or bottom sheet. Attention to detail would be worthwhile and signs on other guests doors to ask them to be mind full not letting doors slam in the morning would be helpful."

"Decent budget-friend hotel though you pay a slight premium for being right on the seafront. They have a parking garage on a first come first serve basis for £8 per 24 hours, though it’s incredibly tight so big cars may struggle. There is lots of paid street parking (£0.95 per 30 minutes) that can often have you parked right outside the hotel if you time it right that runs from 9am to 6pm; max stay 4 hours during those times so it’s good for free overnight if you time it right."
