"The house worked well for our group - two couples and three kiddos. It had everything we needed for cooking in and all the spaces to relax in and out. We rented a pontoon boat which we appreciated docking at the rental for making exploring voyageurs national park easy. We really enjoyed the trip and the cabin was great! "

"It's not the taj mahal, and neither is the price. Very utilitarian for the 5 of us for the nights we stayed. If you are a stay inside family, this is not for that. It's simple, it's clean, pricing is on point. I have stayed in hotels and motels all over the country, and this is the higher end of bargain price quality. We definitely appreciated our stay here, and will be staying again in the future! "

"Wonderful cabin on a quiet lake. Plenty of room for everyone. No hustle and bustle of a resort so the kids were able to bond more this week. The swimming area was nice and fishing was plentiful!"

"The apartment was lovely. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything needed, bathroom was perfect, living area was very comfortable and the convenience of a washer and dryer was wonderful since we were traveling for a few days before our arrival. Our hostess was very welcoming and told us about the area. She invited us to enjoy the dock at the water side and to ring the school bell on our way down. "

"Loved this little apartment! It is just as described. Great location for our visit to Voyageur National Park. It is also within walking distance of a couple coffee places and shopping, which was convenient. We liked it so much we added an extra day to our stay! Host response was quick when needing to communicate. Note, it is on the second floor and there is no elevator so you must be able to use stairs. "

"The bathroom was the biggest problem with mold and moldy black baseboards coming apart at the base molding. (No pun intended.) The hot water heater was literally next to the bed, covered in carpeting with loose screws on top. The location was misrepresented and not in the park or even in a wooded area, but on an atrial street in a neighborhood."

"Had a grand week on Lake Kabetogama. Cabin and bunk cabin fit our group well. Cabins were modern and very clean. Enjoyed having air conditioning when it got humid. Lots to see and do in the area. Saw deer every day. And caught enough fish for a fish fry. "

"It was wonderful to get away to the beautiful surroundings of Minnesota. Quiet, serene, tranquil. Mid-July was definitely a time for biting insects, but apply Off and enjoy the lake. We had everything we needed and more. It was nice to stay at a listing that took the extra step to provide things like trash bags, tp paper, and paper towels. Can't say enough positive things about the owner and communication. 10/10 for sure! Would definitely stay again if vacationing in that part of the US. "

"Steve was a great host and the unit is small but great for 6 people- great for an area where our goal was to spend lots of time outside. Very close to Rainy Lake Visitors Center in Voyageurs and on the shores of Rainy Lake itself. We used the fire pit on the property for s'mores. Steve is very communicative, responsive to requests, and also has recommendations for area activities and dining."
