    The Space:

    Spaciously laid out, this cabin-style home is designed for elbow room. Everyone can help make morning waffles in the spacious, fully equipped kitchen. The centrally-located living room is perfect for game nights, especially if there's a fire going in the wood-burning fireplace. Outside, explore the deck and picnic area set up around by the private gas grill. The hot tub is private and towels are provided! Younger guests will love the fairy ring and fun places to play within the woods. When it's time to turn in, guests can pick out a bedroom with a skylight or a bonus futon.



    The surrounding trees may make guests feel like they're staying in their own forest - and they're not far off! Van Damme State Park is within two miles of the home - enter at the official Van Damme State Park Campground just over one-and-a-half miles away. Try a game of Redwoods Bingo! For guests seeking a different kind of green, Little River Golf Course offers nine holes of fun just one-and-a-half miles away.

    Please note that cell phone service and WiFi can be inconsistent in the area.

    This home is pet-friendly for one dog up to 40 lbs.



    Other Things to Note:

    Check-in Form: To ensure a smooth and secure stay for all guests, we kindly require completion of our short check-in form after booking. This includes signing our standard rental agreement and verifying guest and payment information. It only takes a few minutes and helps us prepare the home for your arrival.



    Pet Policy: We welcome 1 well-behaved dog (40 lbs or under). A nightly pet fee applies and all pets must be disclosed at booking. Pets may not be left unattended unless crated, must stay off furniture, and guests are responsible for cleanup and reporting any damage. Undeclared pets or excessive mess may result in additional fees.



    For security and peace of mind, this property has 4 exterior-only security cameras:

    1 facing the back yard, 1 facing the front yard, 1 facing the front of the house, and 1 facing the parking area.

The house was lovely and in a great location. Close by to several state parks and great hiking areas. Mendocino was just a few minutes down the road. Accommodations were just as described. Rooms were very comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. Would definitely recommend.

Great getaway and lovely cabin. Lots of redwood trees around, very peaceful and private. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and great layout of the dining/living room area. Hot water was limited so just need to plan showers accordingly.

Very comfortable house. Perfect for grown kids and our 2 grandchildren. It was nice to warm up in the hot tub after a day of the shops and enjoying the cool coastal weather!

We loved our stay at this property in Little River! We have stayed at many homes in the area, and this is one of the best ones. Communications with the host Casago was exceptional. When we needed to add our dog last-minute to the reservation, they responded within minutes and were very accommodating. The location of this house was excellent, near the Mendocino Village and the Little River Inn. We loved the forest setting and were awed by the big beautiful ring of redwoods in the driveway. The home was comfortable and spacious, with lovely wood paneling and accents. The skylights made it feel like you were sleeping in a treehouse. Our five year old enjoyed the “Secret Forest” out back and we all enjoyed the hot tub after a great hike at Jug Handle. This home has reignited our desire to purchase our own property in Mendocino. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Perfect Getaway!

We loved staying in Little River, such a great location with redwoods and close to national parks, beaches and Mendocino town. The house was very comfortable and roomy for our family. We very much enjoyed our stay here, thank you so much to the hosts!

Awesome get away

We had a wonderful time at this enchanting home...It was perfect in the redwoods but close to everything. Quiet, Peaceful, very clean...what a nice place to visit . The hot tub under the redwoods and stars was outstanding.

Beautiful home in the redwoods!

We loved everything about our stay in this house! It is spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped, and the location couldn’t be better-in the middle of a redwood forest, one mile from the coast, and 10 minute drive to Mendocino.

It’s hard to find houses that have three bedrooms with large beds for couples. This one is great for 3 couples traveling together. It also set among beautiful redwood trees.

Perfect Family Getaway!

It was so nice to get away and reconnect as a family In this perfect location. We thoroughly enjoyed the home, especially the hot tub, well stocked kitchen and comfy beds. The property was beautiful and felt very far away from home. We love the area and hope to have a chance to visit again!
