"This was perfect for a family holiday. The house is clean, spacious and very well equipped for those who want to cook and eat in-house. The garden is lovely, with lots of space and with different areas to sit out. The gite is about a 10 minute walk from Carentan, or a few minutes in the car. Carentan is about 60 minutes easy driving from Caen. Our host, Mme Haubois, was very welcoming and gave us some good ideas on where to eat and visit, and sorted out a minor issue with the washing machine...

"La Petite Bajocasse is a wonderful house in a perfect location. Peter and Stephanie have made it simply the ideal foundation for whatever plans one has for Normandy and the Bayeux area. For us-- my daughter and I-- it was 2 days of D-Day tours-- which were fantastic-- and then we came back to the house and felt instantly comfortable. One night we drove a short distance to the town center to have pizza (Fred'Au) which was wonderful. Another we had stopped at the Carrefour and had some snacks. On...

"Sehr schönes, gemütliches und gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus im Ortskern von Ryes. Schöner, abgeschlossener und ruhiger Garten. Komplett ausgestattete moderne Küche. Von hier aus haben wir alle interessanten Lokations rund um den D-Day sehr gut erreicht. Arromanches und Bayeux sind von hier aus auch prima mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar, hier gibt es Museen, Supermärkte und Restaurants.Unser Vermieter war nicht vor Ort, aber online sofort erreichbar und sehr bemüht.Vielen Dank, wir hatten einen tollen...

"Le P’tit Saint Martin was an absolute dream for our stay in Bayeux. Nothing was lacking for our comfort in the apartment. The location on Rue de Saint Martin was perfect for dining or walking the streets of the old town. Clarisse the host was so welcoming and attentive to our needs. Merci beaucoup Clarisse! "O hotel é bom e bem localizado. Tem uma garagem dentro (que não é barata, mas podemos entender pela região). O atendimento foi impecável e nosso quarto era confortável. O único ponto negativo que me fez tirar uma estrela foi o café da manhã. Muito fraco, o pior de todos os 5 hotéis que pegamos entre Bruxelas, Normandia e Paris. Poucas opções, o ovo mexido estava estragado, com gosto ruim. E novamente, preço caro pela pouca variedade e má qualidade. Tem hidro aquecida e piscina, que é um ponto positivo pra quem for passar mais dias e precisar relaxar. Zero problemas na comunicação em inglês. Me hospedaria novamente, mas sem pagar pelo café. "
