"Had a lovely stay here in a very comfortable house. Warm welcome from Johnny and his dad and asked if I wanted some fresh milk for tea once I was shown to my room…always a good sign! My room was beautifully furnished and clean and very bright, with a lovely spacious balcony overlooking the hills. Tasty breakfast and on the road. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again."

"We had pretty much an amazing stay, although there was a couple of points that weren’t great. For the most part, staff were amazing and kind can’t fault them, food was great and rooms and facilities great too. During the evening we were having a few drinks, on multiple occasions we’d have to wait 20+ minutes and even go to the bar to order our drinks. The worst part was the sheer disrespect from the manager on duty, who killed the atmosphere by forcing a talented live musician to shut down for...

"Sadly despite best efforts from a friendly staff we had a poor experience with our room. On the first day there was a constant motor noise which we were told came from the kitchen and would end when service was over. Our room safe would not reset so we had to be provided with the access key. The shower was unusable as the temperature varied from too hot to scalding and despite hanging a clean me sign on the door the room was not serviced. "It was a beautiful location. The cottages are well equipped. There was a bit of a musty smell. I think that could have been the carpets in the bedrooms and sitting area. Wooden floors would be more hygienic. Having the hotel so close was the effect for the leisure centre and bar! A great weekend all considered and I will be back!"
