    Situada no jardim dos proprietários amigáveis, com uma variedade de pássaros selvagens, e ao lado de um riacho murmurante, esta casa de 2 quartos é convertida em um celeiro do século 18, com tetos altos, vigas originais, piso de ardósia e grande queimador de combustível sólido. perfeito para umas férias de inverno aconchegantes ou relaxantes férias de verão. Embora o jardim seja compartilhado, há uma área isolada e adornada sobre o córrego dentro do jardim, para uso exclusivo dos hóspedes.
    A casa tem fácil acesso à A30 e A38, e é equidistante das costas norte e sul da Cornualha, com as fantásticas praias que cada uma tem para oferecer.
    As caminhadas em Bodmin Moor estão a cerca de 1,6 km e sua localização significa que é a porta de entrada ideal para explorar toda a Cornualha e suas muitas atrações turísticas. As atracções locais incluem Colliford Lake, Carnglaze Caverns e Golliath Falls. O Cardinham Woods, com seus 650 acres de trilhas para caminhada e instalações de aluguel de bicicletas, fica a 6,5 km, ou, para quem gosta de emoção, a Adrenaline Quarry fica a 20 minutos de carro. Beautiful place to chillax.

Set deep on Bodmin moor, the cottage was excellent. Just the right size for 4. Clean, tidy and tastefully and thoughtfully kitted out. Great place to relax and unwind. Well situated for most attractions, which are within 1hr on all directions. A must stay.

We absolutely LOVED it!It was perfect location and setup for me and my dogs.

We absolutely LOVED it!It was perfect location and setup for me and my dogs. Easy to find (great navigations given), loved the local little shop and the pub had really tasty food!Dogs enjoyed the amazing dog walks down to the beach or just around the cottage. Plenty of things to see - got some decent discounts in the local shops thanks to Mark & Zoe.The host couldnt have been more welcoming! The eggs went down really well with the pups for breakfast. They were incredibly helpful with information, got so much logs / kindles for my stay. They regularly topped up the different bird feeders which I could see from the fire-lit sofa inside. the little spring next to the cottage kept the dogs entertained for a long time! The cottage was clean, equipped with everything I could think of! The bed was comfy and we were all on the same level, I didnt have to climb stairs! It was dog friendly - pups enjoyed the special treat Mark & Zoe left out for them!HIGHLY recommend this cottage for you to stay if you are looking for recharging your batteries! We are coming back in a few months time!

I would thoroughly recommend Trenay Barns Cottage.

I would thoroughly recommend Trenay Barns Cottage. It is off the beaten track, hence only an 8 for amenities but to be honest, if you book here, you should not expect to be popping to the shop every few minutes. It is well located to get to North or South Coasts and further into Cornwall if you want. It was scrupulously clean on arrival and the owner was very friendly and helpful with advice about best beaches and other attractions. The garden is very pretty and the bird feeders were always full and so the garden birds were plentiful. A few pheasants first thing in the morning too but our little dog soon saw them off. It is very safe for your dog and the owners just require you to keep your dog out of the bedrooms which is perfectly understandable. Absolutely zero mobile phone signal but excellent WiFi. Overall, very highly recommended! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Terrific place, very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Owners are really nice people and very helpful. Very rural location, ideal for walks on the moors and both coasts of Cornwall accessible within approx.35 minutes drive. Will certainly book again, thoroughly recommended.

A really lovely cottage/barn conversion in a totally peaceful location in a little valley - just the owners and a farm next door, otherwise very quiet. The cottage is perfectly located for exploring central Cornwall (or further afield if you feel like it). Mid way between north and south coasts with plenty of places to explore within 30 minutes drive. Zoe and Mark are really excellent hosts making sure we had everything we needed, giving advice on places to go and keeping us supplied with fresh laid eggs and salad crops. The garden is completely secure so if you do take your dog, as we did, they are perfectly safe. having said that, in the four days we were there I think that apart from the dust cart and the oil delivery wagon we heard about 2 cars go past the property. A really great place for a relaxing break. Nearest pub in St Neot (about 2 miles away) serves good food (suggest you book particularly at week ends).

We booked this for us and our Labrador puppy.

We booked this for us and our Labrador puppy. We chose this cottage from the pictures on web but on arrival it surpassed them. It is beautiful and in a wonderful quiet location and hidden away down small lanes . The garden is a haven of tranquility and dog friendly off a lead so long as it is not a wall jumper!! . We would recommend this to others unreservedly . The location is very near to golitha falls, lanhydrock house , cardinham woods and several reservoirs that provide great pooch walks (most of which they are allowed to swim at) . We returned home tired but happy everyday . The hosts Mark and Zoe are completely helpfull and allow you to get the most from your visit . I hope you enjoy this little gem as much as we did.

A really lovely quiet location where you can enjoy a completely relaxed holiday. Zoe and Mark made us feel very welcome as soon as we arrived and were always ready to ensure our stay at their holiday cottage comfortable and enjoyable.Lots of birds in the garden which were always a joy to watch at any time of the day.

We enjoyed a pleasant stay at Trenay Barns Cottage. Everything was spotless when we arrived. The fresh eggs and muffins were a nice touch. Mark and Zoe were very friendly and asked our toddler if he would like to feed their chickens, which he loved. He also loved the garden and liked watching the array of animals and birds which visited the feeders. The garden was beautiful and well kept. The cottage is well situated to visit the North and south coasts. Attractions such as The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan not far away. The cottage was a bit chilly in the evenings but the wood burner and electric heaters were very effective at warming it up quickly. Plenty of kindling , coal etc provided. The house was well stocked with everything you might need. We would definitely stay again. Thank you, Mark and Zoe.

Had a fabulous time here over Easter.

Had a fabulous time here over Easter. Aided by great weather but rain or shine you would not be disappointed by this venue. Wonderful hosts making sure we were well settled in and with fresh eggs and milk. Lots of info re things to do and see but with plenty of privacy and your own space. Delightful to sit at the sun trap decking by the babbling brook in the garden listening to the birds singing in this private peaceful space.

Stayed for four nights during Easter holidays. Fantastic location- peace and quiet! Cottage was very clean and tidy. Mark and Zoe were very friendly and helpful. Very close to lots of activities/days out. Definitely recommend.
