"A little more upmarket than we would normally"

"I had made a call prior to check in to request parking, advised to get there early and ask at desk. This was incorrect and there were no spaces available. At 15.12, after standing in a queue for over 15 mins I am told my room was not ready, the manager came out and was totally disinterested in me as a customer, but found one that would be in another 5 mins. Parking - we were very pleased we arrived early on the day (around 10 am) and were able to leave the car in the car park then even though we obviously couldn’t check in. "Access worked well via code communicated via email. Room was very clean and well appointed. Bed and bedding was very comfortable. Small bathroom with nice rainfall shower. Location was ideal sitting at the bottom of Steep Hill between shops and historic Lincoln (castle/cathedral). "

"Really friendly owners Hugh and Marian, very good company! They took us up to feed the horses and meet the other friendly animals. We stayed in a little independent suite which was warm and cosy. Extreme comfortably bed!! Wonderful breakfast. 10/10"
