"As a family with a small child, we can only recommend this Pinelodge.We felt very comfortable right from the start. The surroundings are beautiful and everything can be reached by car in a few minutes. We also used the opportunity to go swimming in the pool house every day. Our son loved it."

The buses are very frequent with the 599 stopping outside White Cross Bay Holiday Park direct from Windermere train station, and onto picturesque Ambleside and Grasmere. ...

"This place is not about the cleanliness or hygiene, it about getting back into the natural world, seeing Mother Nature at her best, taking advantage of the lovely wilderness. It was so peaceful and tranquil, the sound of the stream next to us was amazing! Would definitely recommend! Currently looking for my own hut I’ve lived it so much!"

"Lovely caravan in a convenient and beautiful location. The caravan itself was clean and well equipped. The outdoor bath was a huge hit with the children. The owners of the farm on which the caravan is located couldn't be more friendly and accommodating if they tried. My son, 13, had a brilliant time helping to milk the cows. He didn't want to leave really. The amount of space for the children to play in was great too. I'd certainly recommend this place to families."
