My wife and I have stayed at Mediterranean hotel several times over the years. Overall it's a pleasant experience, clean, and good deal for a 4-star hotel that looks and feels more like 5-star.
Recently renovated and modern, good sized rooms.
We got sea-view but it was honestly more like partial-sea view due to the angle of our room location.
One issue we continually have is a lack of customer recognition and royalty program. We had our wedding here many with hundreds of guests, we have stayed on many special occasions, yet each time we are treated like strangers. No welcome back Mr. & Mrs...
Overall the staff is professional but minimal in friendliness. The last few times we checked out, nobody asked "how was everything", and not even a "hope to see you again".
Usually it's literally as follows:
"Anything from the room fridge? No? Okay, bye"
Hotel breakfast is great and the dinner too (depending on the theme).
This time it was Lebanese night and they have very loud live music which started around 6 or 7pm. Around 10pm I called reception when it will be ending, they told me around 11pm.
I kindly asked to inform management that is VERY loud, even with the air conditioning fans on full and the sliding door closed (3rd floor). It stopped about 10:45pm which is quite late for people who want to rest.
Still a good hotel choice in Limassol, but don't expect above and beyond service or friendliness from most staff (although there are some rare gems here and there).
