"Rosevears was a beautiful setting a top the River. The accommodations were satisfactory where the view is the highlight. The reception and dining room is detached from the individual cabins which is a bit of an inconvenience to walk to especially if it's raining, but when the sun is shining the outdoor terrace makes for a most spectacular experience. The staff is so kind and helpful and it is the best place to stay on the river."

"Room was a good size, and we were able to park right out the front. Breakfast was lovely, big selection of cereals, yogurt and breads available. Was lovely to have the electric fire going in the room. Clear instructions received on how to use the digital key pad at the front door, and the location of our room. Located close to the CBD. Would happily stay again if visiting Launceston."

"Had a great stay in a silo room with a balcony, pretty views of the river, it would've been even better if those rooms were on a higher level as it's easy to see in when walking past. However, the bed was comfy and the shower was amazing, best hotel shower I think I've ever had! Archie was also a highlight."

Due to being located on a major thoroughfare, the road noise was terrible. There was no fan or aircon in the room to circulate any air, and the only way to allow air circulation was to prop the window open a bit. "An old property that’s been renovated. However showed signs of wear and tear. Parking space was a bit tight."

"The Florance was a great place to stay from every perspective. Room was excellent well fitted out and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The location is great over the road from the Botanical Gardens and on the edge of the city. If you are an AFL fan down for the footy (as I was) the location is only a 10-15 minute stroll to the ground. Pub over the road was good for a meal. Will definitely return."
