"Arrived and the lady at the desk was annoyed I was even there. Got to the room and it was 81 degrees in there and smelt so musty. Went to turn on a/c and was caked in dust. Floors were visibly filthy, toilet seat cracked and a dirty hand towel was hanging next to the sink."

"The Inn was a bit more run down than the pictures showed. The carpet in my room was very thick with long piles. The room, while cool due to the working air conditioner, had a damp feel to it. The toilet paper on the roll in the bathroom had a damp feel as did the armchair in the main room and the bed linens. The bathroom sink had difficulty draining. The walls in my unit were fairly thin as I heard a rather loud argument from the guests next door. With my Expedia rewards, I only ended up paying...

"My 21 year old son stayed at this Hampton Inn on his way back to college in IL. He enjoyed the gym, the indoor pool, the large selection of breakfast items, and the close proximity to I-55. The room was clean and the staff was friendly, even to a 21 year old young man traveling alone. Thank you for a wonderfully positive experience!"

"My room had several problems, but I was so tired. I didn’t want to complain about it. Instead, I just made sure I left the property as early as possible in the morning. The problems were as follows. Smoke detector had been pulled out of the wall. I I have no idea if it was operational or not. It was completely out of the wall just hanging. Second issue was there were long black hair stuck to the inside of the shower. There was also a cockroach on my bed that was alive. "

"There is no swim able pool! And no refunds!! Staff was nice… rooms are Okay!"

"The air conditioning was good! But not very clean room. Hair everywhere. Strange fluids on bed and couch. Very spacious. You get what you pay for."

"The room was a handicap room. Didn't ask for it, but it was nice. Did laundry and 0nly 2 machines were working out of 4. The washer was awful and the dryer looked like it hadn't been cleaned for years. It was an OK stay."

"When we arrived the room was 90+degrees and took 4 hours to cool off. Also unfortunately the room seemed to have a leak in the ceiling near the window so the ceiling was moldy and even the picture on the wall under it was moldy. I'm not especially sensitive to mold but I can only imagine that everything in the room had mold spores. Also the pillow cases had a yellowish tint to them like the cleaning agent in the wash didn't finish the job or something, me and my wife just put the sheet of the...
