Great Girls Weekend

It was a great place for a weekend with girlfriends! It was a nicely updated home with chic decor and nice bedding. The owners were fantastic - offered local treats and recommendations. The location was convenient to local restaurants and attractions. I would recommend a stay!

Great house in a great location

Loved our stay here. House was perfect for us with the setup of one bedroom upstairs and two down. Everything was immaculate and loved all the Kentucky themes. Definitely staying here again if itā€™s available when we visit Lexington. And Martinezā€™s bakery just steps across the street was fantastic. Hosts were great to communicate with and promptly answered any questions we had.

Bourbon Trail trip for my manā€™s 40th

I canā€™t say enough abt this place! Absolutely beautiful and super cozy. The house was clean and very inviting. The host was amazing with checking in & any questions I had. We stayed in the upstairs bedroom as it was just the 2 of us and the bed was really comfy along with the pillows. We made friends with the neighbor behind us and he was super cool. Weā€™d definitely stay there again for sure!!

Nice corner house

We attended The Road to the Horse event at the Kentucky Horse Park. It was nice for 3 couples. The house was clean and we all had king sized beds with a TV in each room plus one in the living room and the house had two bathrooms. It was nice to park off the street and the neighborhood was fairly quiet. There is a nice bakery right across the road.

Adorable house with over the top amenities

What a charming house complete with more than enough supplies. Normally, we donā€™t find cleaning supplies to be accessible and this house provides baking soda vinegar for laundry. We even found bleach spray if we needed it. Oh the extra surprise of cocktail machine was a delightful bonus. Even more to add, the awesome location being across from a bakery with delicious sandwiches soups.

Quick stay during a UofK open campus visit

We had a Great one-night stay at this charming property in Downtown Lexington. The beautifully renovated centenarian home perfectly balanced historic charm with modern comforts, providing a unique and unforgettable experience. The location was unbeatable, with access to a plethora of up-and-coming breweries, restaurants, coffee shops, and other exciting new establishments. Being in the heart of "New Kentucky" allowed us a convenient distance to the city's vibrant culture and just a short distance to the University of Kentucky. The space itself was impressive and ideal for various types of travelers. I highly recommend booking this property to experience the magic of Lexington firsthand!

Beautiful well apportioned home in transitional area.

This house is absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay here, but the neighborhood is very transitional and there were many transient persons wandering around the streets and sleeping on the sidewalk all day and night. Initially we almost canceled our booking, but decided to see what the house was like. The home had large TVs, very comfortable beds with lots of pillows, a well-stocked kitchen, and was roomy enough for the six of us. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. We all kept commenting on how much we liked the property, but we were just a bit fearful of the goings on around the house. While this location may be within walking distance to a lot of cool bars and restaurants, we did not feel comfortable walking anywhere. And we were a group of six, including three men. I was comfortable when we were in the house, but I wouldnā€™t recommend this location to a group of women traveling alone together. Overall, I really enjoyed the property with the exception of the location. And that is not something that the owner can change. Everything that they can do to make this house welcoming and beautiful, they have done. The owners were very communicative and responsive. I mentioned the area to be transparent. While I absolutely love the house, I do not think I would stay there again because part of the charm of Lexington is walking around, and we felt we were unable to do that safely.

Renovated House near downtown Lexington

We rented this house for a weekend while making a few stops on the KY bourbon trail. The house is located about 35 minutesā€™ drive to the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfurt and about a mile to the downtown Lexington areaā€™s bars and restaurants. The house has clearly been recently renovated and the interior is nice, as pictured. The property description describes the house as being located in an up-and-coming area and weā€™d say that is accurate, albeit early in the process. This isnā€™t an area most would want to take a walk around currently. Martineā€™s Pastries across the street was excellent, easily the bright spot of the location. Communication with the Host was great ā€“ prompt and comprehensive. The 4-star review is primarily due to the up-and-coming nature of the location and exterior surveillance cameras not being disclosed in accordance with VRBO guidelines.

Beautiful home

We really enjoyed our stay. The house has been remodeled and has all new appliances. Each bedroom has a king bed and a huge tv. The beds were comfortable. The house is in an older neighborhood but we didnā€™t feel unsafe and never even saw a neighbor. Down the street there is a lot of homeless people but they didnā€™t bother us. Randy was super attentive and emailed daily checking on us. He did give recommendations for restaurants that were good. Thank you

Very nice!

This was a very cute little house it was perfect for our family and our short stay. It was very clean! Very nice little pastry shop right across street ..the owners were very helpful - had some trouble getting in at first, but solved in reasonable time! Would stay here again for sure...

This place was excatly what we were looking for, a home away from home!

This place was perfect! It was newly renovated and was great for our family. The beds are super comfortable, which is a big plus!!! The owners were great, very quick to respond to any questions we had. It's close to downtown so everything is nearby and the bakery across the street was delicious! If we ever come back we would šŸ’Æ stay here again.
