Beautiful custom built waterfront log house perfect for family reunions, large group gatherings, Furniture Market groups, Barbecue Festival groups and fun on the lake. Close to High Point, Charlotte, Greensboro and Winston Salem. Home is open with lots of windows and glass doors with amazing view of sunset. This home has been designed to accommodate friends and family members for a resort-style vacation. We do allow weddings and parties at the property. Additional adjacent lot available for events parking.

Peaceful weekend getaway

This home has a kitchen that is well equipped for the cook, has enough seating in the dining, and common areas, and two large lakeside open areas to enjoy the peaceful cove. If privacy isn’t an issue, one of the bedrooms is an open air loft, which is accessed by a metal spiral staircase. The host has supplied ample products for personal use in the bathrooms, and a great coffee/beverage bar. We had a great time and would highly recommend to others!

Beautiful Home

It's a beautiful home with everything you need for the stay—lots of paper products and bathroom supplies. The view of the lake is excellent, and it is a quiet cove. The outside area has furniture, but some are broken, and some are very dirty and unusable. The inside was clean, but it seemed it had not been rented recently and had spider webs. We could not get the lake side doors to lock.

Great Stay

We rented this beautiful property for my son's wedding in nearby in Lexington. We had family stay with us and a post-wedding celebration on Sunday. The house is beautiful and the location is great. The only minor concern is the statement it's a 4 bedroom house. It's really 3 bedrooms, with a 4th room with two futons and a bar. But it worked great for us. The owner is very responsive and helpful.

Beautiful home with a excellent location!

Very clean throughout! Coffee bar was stocked nicely!! Beds were conformable as well. The canoe & kayaks were fun on the lake too! The AC went out the 1st night but they tried hard to get it fixed but over a holiday weekend wasn't able to be replaced! The 2 mini split units helped keep it tolerable! The host tried and that's what matters!!Will definitely visit again!!

Almost Perfect

We stayed here for a long weekend with our adult kiddos and grands. This property was clean and very spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed and the property manager was very responsive to questions and concerns. I wanted so badly to give it 5 stars, but sadly, the few negatives caused me to drop a star. First, the wonderful floating dock did not have a stationary ladder for getting out of the water. There was some sort of rope contraption, but not practical for adults. The pictures on the listing clearly showed a ladder, so that was disappointing. We were close enough to shore to wade in, but had to put on shoes before doing so because of the accumulation of snail shells which were very sharp. Next, while the beds were comfortable, the plastic mattress protectors were not. They were loud (crinkly every time you moved) and made for hot sleeping. I’d highly recommend upgrading to waterproof mattress pads. And the last thing that caused us an inconvenience was the dishwasher that wouldn’t work. We had to wash dishes for seven people after every meal. Despite these few issues, it was a great stay for our family and we’d certainly book again!

Beautiful house and peaceful location

We had 10 family members staying and it was perfect for us! Enough sleeping spots for everyone and there were even air mattresses available if needed, The house had extra sheets and towels. Washer/dryer was in the main floor master and very convenient w/detergent for us to use. The lake wasn’t overrun with boats and it was very peaceful area. My only “complaint” is the only bathroom on main floor was in the master bathroom. There are 2 other bathrooms in the house (one on each floor). I would definitely choose this house if we were back in the area! Host was very responsive to all messages! Great stay

Much needed nurses retreat

A group of 8 nurses stayed for a long weekend. We floated on the lake in rafts (loved the steps down into the water), sat on the dock listening to music, played games at the big dining table, enjoyed coffee on the upper deck, sat around the fire pit at night, and all of us used the kayaks. We had an amazing stay! The place was super clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and everyone had a place to sleep. We had an amazing time!

Soccer Tournament

Excellent house, excellent location, everything you could have wanted in a vacation house. All the amenities, we did not want for anything. The house should probably be listed as a 3 bedroom not a 4 bedroom. Plenty of space, the common areas inside or outside of the house are perfect for a large group or some type of get together but we were expecting 4 bedrooms, the pull out couches were ok but did not leave any privacy for the ones sleeping on them as well as the large sectional couch in the living room. Overall a fantastic trip and house.

Lakefront Log House with Boat Dock, May 2023

It was a pleasure staying at this property. The property manager was VERY quick to respond to any questions we had. Also, I messaged them about the dryer not working correctly and making a loud noise; Jigar had the repairmen there within an hour to fix it. WOW! That is what I call service. The view from this property is Amazing, including the sunsets. And I way overpacked, because this lake house was very well stocked. Lots of extra towels. I was also amazed at how well the coffee bar was stocked. It was awesome. The boat slip was easily accessible. Also, I noticed (because we had small children with us), both the main level deck and the water deck had safety gates to keep little ones from going down the stairs or ramp. This is very thoughtful and helpful for parents/grandparents. I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful views from the patio.

The house was beautiful and very well stocked for our group. It’s listed as a four bedroom but it’s truly a two bedroom. The loft with two beds was fine for our early risers. The view from the yard was great as the boats were out during the days. The host was very quick with responses to any questions or concerns we had.

Big lake house!

We had a wonderful time, loved all the amenities. Probably the most stocked house I’ve ever rented. We fished, we canoed, we grilled…even though it was cold and rainy we still had fun! Very gracious host :)

Perfect lake house & location

House was perfect for our group. Great amenities inside and out, with some recent renovations not reflected in the listing photos (couches, coffee machines, boat dock) - which was all a pleasant surprise. Property manager was also very responsive to all our questions/needs. Only suggestion is to check w/ the PM ahead of time about the schedule for the landscapers/gardeners who maintain the yard. They showed up Saturday @ 8am, mowing and weed-whacking for over an hour, which woke up most people in the house. We later notified the PM who apologized for the inconvenience, and said he would have told them to leave had he known sooner. That’s all good and appreciated, but better approach would be a proactive one: i.e. scheduling the landscapers between guest visits, or at least notifying the guests ahead of time. All in all though, minor road bump in an otherwise great vacation rental experience.

Perfect getaway!

Spacious lakefront property was perfect for us, our kids, and our grandkids. We've never had a home so well equipped for rest and play. Board games, foosball, corn hole, horseshoes, kayaks, even fishing rods were supplied!

Wonderful wedding weekend

This place is beautiful! The view is amazing! It is a beautiful house with all the things you might need while you are there! Our host was very friendly, helpful and very accommodating! We had a wonderful weekend with family here for our son’s wedding in Salisbury. We had our rehearsal dinner here and it was perfect! Our family and friends commented on the beauty of the lake view and the home. We highly recommend this house and the host as well!

I can't speak highly enough about the host of this home. Great place to stay

Great place to stay for large groups. Tried out a new larger house and this one was the answer to all our needs. The group wanted to spend more time hanging out at the house than fishing.
