"Our family enjoyed all the rooms & amenities at the house. Everything was beautiful. The pool & kayaking were a hit. Touring the Greenbrier bunker was educational for all of us. I emailed the owner about a couple of things & he responded promptly. A great place for all of us!"

"I cannot say enough about this two day stay we had. The staff was excellent. Lodging was excellent. Foot soak facial and massage is one of the best i have ever gotten. These people really know how to do you up for a relaxing services. Salt caves are out of this world. The lodge was excellent. If anyone gets a chance to go it is one the best. Cannot wait to plan the next trip. Again all staff members were so nice. I would give it 10 stars if there was such a thing. Thanks for an enjoyable stay."

"Becky is a lovely host. She was very responsive, quick to troubleshoot, left a very gracious welcome basket with munchies for each night, and a warm welcome card. She even checked in a day into our stay to see how things were going. Everything was as described. The bed was very comfy and she had a wide variety of pillows to choose from for personal comfort. Location was great between downtown Lex and BV. Will stay again left time were in the area. Thank you, Becky. "

"This place has potential, but there are several things that need to be done for the property to bring it up to the standard of a vacation rental. First and foremost, it needs a deep cleaning. We spent our first full day of vacation cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds are awful. Awful. The appliances are in need of replacement. The entire home needs somebody with resources to invest some cash and bring it to a standard worthy of charging people to stay. Some other things of note,...

"Great place!!! Tucked away in a beautiful setting. Quiet and relaxing. Gave special attention to so many small details! Checking was easy - Host communicated so well. Kitchen was fully functional. Did not need for anything! "

"Nicely remolded. We had an issues caused by us. The owner was there to help out within an hour. If you stay there do not lock the door lock. It’s not just a pass through knob. We locked it and of course the code meant nothing at that point. Like o said great response and we moved right along. We will stay there again "

"We loved this house, so much character. The owner was so sweet and helpful. We cooked and ate our meals here (you can even do a grocery pickup at the Kroger which is not far away). We loved listening to the river, and truly just enjoyed our stay. We would definitely come back!"
