"If you’re looking for a quiet peaceful cabin to just go get lost in the world of your significant other, this is the place to go! They’re far enough from the everyday life but still close enough to enjoy all the beauty of their charming city!! The food is to die for and definitely a reason for us to return!! "This trip was a surprise 40th birthday trip for my fiance. The house is absolutely beautiful! The wood stove inside is super cozy, the hammock swings outside are an amazing place to relax and read. If you want to unplug from the world and relax and recharge, the lazy bear is the place to go. The host was amazing at answering all our questions. We can't wait to come back. "

"Cabin was very clean and offered many sleeping areas. It was pet friendly although a fenced backyard would be nice. The flashlight located in the hallway was most helpful when letting them out at night. I would place a sign in the shower about pulling the ring down to get the water to come out through the shower. The window unit air conditioners were adequate for a June visit but probably not July or August. I was never able to receive the manual in my email. The key boxes should have the same...

Tony was always very quick to respond to text inquiries. Excellent WIFI, online house manual with videos on how to use the hot tub was helpful.Near Berkley Springs. The master bedroom is large, updated and clean. The second bedroom is small and a little dated."

"I went looking for peace and I found it in Berkeley Springs WV. Tony was a VERY attentive host and every message ( big and small) was gifted a swift response. The check in was simple, the cabin is literally as pictured. We did have a small hiccup 2 days shy of checking out.. the fridge stopped worked after a small storm. "We had a wonderful stay at The Ginger. We loved the seclusion and the view! We even had 7 deer visit one evening. The place was clean and comfortable! "Based on a few other reviews, of it being 'rundown', yes - you can tell its aging, but it was a beautiful cabin, very private and quiet. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. The bedroom and bathroom in the bottom floor was very nice and can tell everything was newer. Overall a geat little getaway and would definitely go back if we had the opportunity. "
