"I hesitate to leave such a negative review but feel that if I had read something similar to what I’m about to write, it would’ve affected my decision on renting this unit. This unit has a cockroach problem. The owner said that he has never had this problem before; however, I looked back at the reviews to see if I had missed any mention of this. Sure enough, it looks like the September 7th review of this unit also mentioned pests inside. I can confirm this, and there were also bugs on the balcony...

"Everything was as described. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The view over Lake Conroe was magnificent, especially the evening sunsets! The only downside was that the elevator was down, but that was disclosed to us at booking. My wife and I had no problems, but definitely wouldn’t work for someone who has trouble on stairs until the elevator is repaired."
