"For the price and location, this cabin was great. Clean and secluded. Only thing that was dirty was the outdoor table. No bugs inside. Loved the wrap-around porche and fire pit. The big couch needs to be changed, it has no stiffness. We fixed a drawer in the refrigerator that was not holding together upon arrival. The bedroom bed frame was not sturdy. There were many leftover coffee filters if you were thinking about bringing any. WiFi was not working upon arrival. After a few messages with...

"We had a wonderful time at this cabin! It was clean, the location was great and peaceful and easy proximity to red river gorge and hiking, which was our main attraction to the area. "The Climber’s den is a unique property in the heart of the forest, location is very private and romantic yet only 5 min drive to a great bbq restaurant. It’s better to arrive before sunset as getting there can be a bit tricky. Better drive there on a SUV..The place was clean and had space heaters to keep us warm during chilly October nights. The only issue we had is the hot tub malfunction during the first 2 nights. It was fixed on the 3rd night so we could finally enjoy it. Also, be aware that...

"i stayed in this cabin to enjoy hiking in the gorge. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities needed for the term of my stay. Checking in and out was very convenient. Communication with the host was very accommodating. It was a bit of a drive each day to and from my hiking destinations but i would not necessarily allow that to hinder my decision to return to this cabin in the future."

"Host was responsive to problems we encountered upon arrival, but they should have been addressed prior to arrival through housekeeping management. The kitchen was not well stocked with dinnerware, so come prepared if you have a full house. You’re at a train crossing, so be prepared for train horns and crossings 24/7.The cabin had comfortable beds and lounge furniture and the air conditioning was good. Would stay again if our favorite spot is unavailable."
