"Our group of 4 college buddies needed a place to meet up, relax, visit and catch up. What a wonderful place to do so. The cabin was just what we needed with plenty of space inside and out. Everything was clean and very well stocked. Unfortunately the river was at flood stage and we had to stay out, it did not ruin the view and tranquility. Thank you for offering up your place and we definitely look forward to coming back again. "

"This was our second stay at this cabin. We loved it so much last year that we decided to take the 1000-mile drive to stay here again this summer. The cabin was perfect for our needs--rustic but with all the creature comforts, pet-friendly but clean and meticulously maintained, with a great yard and easy river access, secluded but close to town. Our dog absolutely loved swimming in the river! After two weeks at virtually any vacation rental, we're usually bouncing off the walls to get back...

"We stayed here while bicycling the Katy Trail. We weren’t prepared for the hills but Renee took pity on us & helped us get around. We visited the Stone Hill Winery cellars. Very interesting. The Himmel Haus is wonderful. We were able to do laundry & Renee even helped fix a flat tire! She fixed us a delicious breakfast before we hit the trail again. "
