Whether hiking, cycling or simply enjoying nature - there's something for everyone here. In summer, the Rothaarsteig trail, Biggesee lake, Atta cave and Panorama Park invite you to go on excursions. In winter, snow-covered trails and small ski areas nearby offer peaceful experiences in the snow. Health resorts such as Saalhausen, atmospheric Christmas markets and the Karl May Festival provide variety all year round
